Re: $20 million in death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond

It's a lot of money to spend for the sole purpose of feeling good about your commitment to diversity. For a little while, at least.

Re: Second Amendment Protection Act

Gonna be tough sledding in the US Senate, and Trump signing such a bill is likely going to be a hard stop. My guess is that even the Democrats that love marijuana hate guns so much that they won't vote for anything that makes it easier to buy them.

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

Went to a gun show last year for the first time in a very long time, got a great reminder of why I don't go. Among the rows of rare and gold plated museum pieces  , I found the pot of honey. A gentleman was selling 5.56 "green tips" for only $.99/per rd! He had a sign that read, &qu...

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

I was reminded of this yesterday as I went to trade in my 90%-condition German .40 SIG P229 for $255 (orginal purchase price in 1996 was $795). That $255 was 60% of its current retail value (Bill's wants a 40% markup. It's an excellent handgun, but the market for big, steel, hammer-fired .40 cals is...

Re: Concealed carry choices

I've tried several compact and sub-compact carry guns. I first carried a Colt Mustang (NiteLite) but wanted to move to 9mm, and didn't want anything with a manual safety. I've tried and abandoned the Glock 23, and the Shield...didn't care for the grip on either...tried a Karh but found it to be too ...

Re: In the gun rights fight, don’t be a McNutt

The behavior is stupid and unproductive, but I'm missing the details on why they consider this intimidation. Were there threats of violence or any sorts of aggressive behavior? Did he show up armed to the teeth, shouting, ranting and raving? Conversation about public policy can happen anywhere. The...

In the gun rights fight, don’t be a McNutt

A passionate “gun rights activist” in Texas decided it would be a good idea to actually visit the homes of legislators that he perceived as stalling a Texas “constitutional carry” bill. Predictably, that turned out to be counterproductive. https://www.foxnews.com/us/texas-house-speaker-declares-cons...

Re: Is this none nfa?

Short barrel shotguns, like machine guns, are illegal in Minnesota regardless of their Federal status under the NFA.

Hah! You got 'em going again. Good job! Ought to be good for another 2 or 3 pages.

I'd recommend putting a little more effort into the Vikings thread.

Heh heh. That is simply not the nature of this site. This thread will go on for pages. It’s why he’s back. Even Ttousi knows it...it’s why he hasn’t been banned.

I know allowing the return of LePetomane was not on my ballot :cogitating:

Mine either.

For a guy who hates minnesota so much he sure can't seem to stay away.

Can't you guys guess the reason?

Re: AMA Just Adopted Sweeping Gun Control Policies

None of them even considered trying to understand why my blood pressure might be high. LOL. Google "primary hypertension" or "essential hypertension". Google "hyperinsulinemia" and "hypertension". If you’re concerned that you are not getting good medical care...

Re: AMA Just Adopted Sweeping Gun Control Policies

The older i get the less i am impressed with Doctors. Some are skilled fewer are gifted and the vast majority are average smart with low people skills. Every GP I've seen in the last 30 years has shown no interest in even trying to understand why. Blood pressure high? Take a pill. Acid reflux? Take...
