I have my kid carry the gun around with a sign on it. For rifles, usually a note card stapled to a straw stock in the bore. For pistols a sign taped to side of a hard case. yep just another FTF sale, just make sure to ask and see their PTP or PTC + a valid state id. also if you want you could fill out a bill of sale. what are you selling? Have bought a lot off of gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com and have always had a good experience. just double check the things people mentioned and the shipping cost some people charge $50-$60 almost all the ones I have purchased have had a $25-$35 ship fee.
