Most of the women shooters that I know, don't have much if any activity on internet gun forums. Other things to do, I suppose.

I screwed some cup hooks to the wall behind a door, and I hang them from the loops. Out of the way, generally, yet easy to get to.

LOL, ditto on hating the S&W 642. I used to have one, hated shooting it so moved it along to a new home. I have a S&W 49, an all steel J frame, much more shootable than the 642, but heavier to carry. Everything is a trade off, I suppose. I also have a Ruger LCR in 38special. Really don't enj...

I've been powder coating lead for a couple of years, now. Very happy with the results.
I do use powder coat from another vendor, and shake and bake instead of using a gun.
Quick, easy, clean, cheap.
