Re: SBR or pistol

I hear muzzle brakes work wonders on those if you're not digging the recoil.

I remember a bad economy and a presidential race that was decided less by the november elections and more by the democrat nominations. And the guy who won was saying he wouldn't be going after guns. Change has cometh.

Re: Considering picking up a firearm for the little lady

+1 to starting out in .22
+1 to letting her pick the gun (as long as reviews on it aren't horrible)
If she expresses any interest in learning from an instructor instead of you for ANY reason, then +1 to that too.

Re: Fleet Farm Sporting Rifle Mag Policy

Crappy situation. Understandable response. When supplies recover a bit, a small buy limit would be much preferable over none.

Better example of mosin

Bought another mosin yesterday. I want to make one a winter project gun and keep one original. Assuming they both shoot comparable to each other anyway. One's a 1943 with black metal pieces on the top part of the handguard, the other's a 1942 with brass (?) ones. The 42 has a few more markings on it...

Re: So... looks like a bunch of you are $$ hating hypocrites

Is it price gouging? Perhaps... Anyway, it doesn't matter once half of the people who bought this stuff at extremely inflated prices realize they're gonna have to learn how to use it ... That'll be too much work so they'll trade it off for a bigger screen TV. But they did learn how to use it! The g...

Re: AK47 in the cities?

The BP FF still had a few VEPR AKs a little while ago. @ 8ish? I think they go for 600-700. Heavy, but the most sturdy built AK you can get.

Re: M&M M10 AK47

I don't know if they've had much problems for build quality, but just look up all the known problems with WASRs, know what to look for with each potential, then you should have a pretty good study guide of things to check before bringing it home. -canted sight -unexplained rattle (you might hear the...

Haven't seen them around much, but-
The integrated sight/gas block is kinda nifty.
It's nice to have a chrome barrel.
I like G2 triggers.

Re: Cheaper than dirt is selling guns online again

Yep. Damage control doesn't even begin to describe the position they're in after yesterday. They can kiss my ass Yep.....that's pretty much the position they are in. $60 Pmags.....what a joke. At least they dropped the price all the way down to $30 after Magpul threatened to drop them as a dealer :...
