Re: Looking at building an AR SBR...

I don't mean to thread jack but I've also been toying with the idea (ok, more like curious) of an SBR but I'm a little foggy on the process or rules, so could someone clarify exactly how one comes to own or build and SBR? Thanks in advance. There have been SBR threads almost every week for the last...

Re: Firearm gift for the groom?

Both of my suggestions are listed. A nice 1911, or a nice revolver. I would skip on the AR, AK, or polymer framed guns if the intention is a keepsake that only gets range duty. If you are looking for something that you hope he uses in his new career I would obviously have other suggestions. You woul...

Re: 3 suspects rob gun store (attached to owner's house)

The gun shop that i frequent is located below the owners residence, I wouldn't even think about going there after sunset without him knowing ahead of time.

The gun or the picture?

I was talking about the picture but I'd love to have the actual gun too.

Re: Pmags

I used JoeBobOutfitters.com and got 7 of them shipped for $91(orders over $90 have free shipping), they did forget to include my free t-shirt though

I should add, these were 30rd no window.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Target Tactical

I called around and Hart Bros was the only place with them. Tim, how are they on trades? I've got a rifle I don't shoot at all, won't shoot, and would get way more use and enjoyment from the 10/22. That is the route I would prefer. I believe the owner is out til the end of the week so no trades til...

Re: Ruger 10/22 Target Tactical

Hart Bros. In Albert Lea seems to always have one on hand when I'm in there. No idea on price or current inventory but may be worth a call.

Re: Small revolvers vs. large and subjective recoil?

My little J frame is brutal with factory. 357 ammo. I would much rather shoot my buddies 500 than the little J frame, although the 38+P isn't too bad.

Re: New Revolver.

I had one about 20 years ago, then - like an idiot - I sold it. It was a boat anchor of a weapon, but it was very well balanced. It's a .357 on a .44 frame, hence the gap between the cylinder and the front frame. I believe that the name for it is Highway Patrolman...S&W was catering to state ag...

Re: GE Washer & Dryer For Sale!

What are the exact model numbers? What year were they built in? What do you mean by "many new parts"?

Re: Pics & stories of your priceless family heirlooms

My step grandfather passed away last year and left me a Jennings .22 :D Obviously worth almost nothing but since it was his I'll never part with it. He also left me a Japanese silk flag that was a war souvenir from his uncle. In the box are a couple newspaper clippings with his uncle and the flag ri...

Re: Wisconsin suppressor owners

I didn't know they were legal in WI. I actually just discussed this with the hunting outfitter who's lodge I live in during the week and I was under the impression they couldn't have them.

Re: The .50 caliber Desert Eagle: Why?

A Desert Eagle. 50AE is on my list, perhaps more near the top than some others. I really actually want one bad. I can fire one in a .44mag whenever I want and its great, the muzzle flash makes you smile like no other. I just have to buy the .50 so I can one up my buddy with the .44. :D
