Re: LED Headlamps

I have been using the Energizer brand for work for a couple years now and others that I work with use the same brand. I find them very dependable, sturdy, and bright. The price is right too. This is the new model. For half the price of others, these are happily disposable when worn out. http://w...

Re: If I were shopping for a complete AR

Walmart has Colts now..

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Colt-LE6920-Carbine-Semi-Auto-Rifle-223-Rem-5.56-NATO/21677322.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it in the case!! Notice it has the Safariland stock. (RogersSuperStoc).

Re: Snake Shot

Back on the original subject..... I use the CCI shotshells and have shot many snakes and tested. 22 cal are worthless. 38 and 40 work good. 44 and 45 work best. If you are using a revo you can use anything. the 38 spc. loads are good. 9mm and 40 usually do not cycle your gun properly and you will ha...

Re: Glock34

I've been shooting a G34 and a G35 for about 12 years now with just a Wolff springs competition spring kit and some polishing. The G34 still has a steel Glock front sight and the stock adjustable rear blacked out. I use it at every NRA action pistol match and doing just fine. The G34 handles well.

Re: ar stock recomendation

1+ on Rugersols "It is pretty tough to make a bad choice." They are all good. Some are heavier or lighter. Some have different sling attachments. They are all good.

Re: A comp and defense AR Platorm?

A friend of mine has the Stag Model 3 with the nice Diamondhead VRS handguard. It runs superbly and it was fairly inexpensive. That will get you into the matches and allow you to improve your skills and figure out what you may want to change later. You can run n gun without a long freefloat tube jus...

Re: ar stock recomendation

The Rogers SuperStoc. Used to be sold through Wilson Combat, now sold by Safariland for more of a battle carbine configuaration. It is the strongest on the market and he is a good guy. Magpul ACS for long range higher power rifle configurations. http://www.rogersshootingschool.com/produc...

Re: looking for advice on 3" 1911

I had one 3" 1911 and it ran like a man with a broken leg. I like the Tman comment and believe it. Know a 3" 1911 was already purchased and would suggest a different platform when you trade it in. My suggestion for a replacement would be a j-frame.

Re: New to the 10/22

There are only a few items needed to make these run well and improve their human interface. 1. A good Extractor http://www.coolguyguns.com/Bolt-Extractor_p_14.html 2. A good buffer http://www.coolguyguns.com/Bolt-Buffer_p_12.html 3. A good cocking assembly http://...
