Re: Is there a thread for the Armslist AR-15 Contest?

AriGold has been harassing my PM inbox for weeks - out of the blue. I have no idea who AriGold is. Arigold does not respond back to PM’s (I’m trying to find out who it is). Has anyone else been contacted by AriGold? I suggest AriGold’s account be terminated – possible fake / double account used for ...

Re: AR15 Pistols 11.5 or 7.5

I chose 7.5" for utility. It's short and light. Easy to mount in small places and easier to keep in the "truck" than a rifle or 11" barrel. Also - the 7.5" is no where near the 26" magical overall length regulation. Accuracy at 200 yards does not bother me - that's not ...

Re: grease vs. oil

I learned a GREAT lesson last weekend - Grease VS Oil: My M1A and AR-15 are spotless and have always run 100% - I had put many rounds through them. This summer I switched to full synthetic mobile 1 grease to lube slides, bolt contact areas etc... (normal amount) The weather was COLD!!!!! My M1A cycl...

Re: AR pistol

Wrong. To be considered a rifle, it MUST be meant to be shouldered: have a stock. If the length is over 26" and it does not have a stock: it's a firearm. Not a rifle or a pistol. The removable muzzle device issue mentioned above is also correct. If you're making a firearm to allow use of a VFG...

Re: AR pistol

I can't take my 16" upper and put it onto my AR pistol lower? You can, but if I am understand the MN laws correctly: If a 16" or longer barreled upper is put on a pistol lower, the firearm is now considered a "normal" rifle (over 26" overall length). Since no longer conside...

Re: AR pistol

I've been researching this myself too - the 26" pistol max length rule DOES apply in MN. So now the question: Using a carbine length buffer tube (not the short pistol one) : What is the max barrel length (including a standard a2 flash hider) that can be used in MN for an AR pistol? I'm thinking...

Re: Help Find A Dead Body In Carver/Rice/Sartell County

Go for a walk w/ a dog - it works. I am located in Carver County and commonly walk my dogs in the woods, fields and ditches for fun and training. A few years back, I (meaning my dog) found the body of a local motorcyclist that had been missing for 24hrs. All of these missing persons cases a great tr...
