Re: My new LCR .357

really great gun. My wife and I use our LCRs in 38 Spl for EDc at this time.
25 rounds at the range from time to time is enough to keep familiarity.

Re: Looking for a range, not a club (West metro)

Well I spoke with someone from just about every club on my side of town and am hopefully going to spend some money in the near future for a membership. For those of you that belong to the Horse and Hunt club in prior lake, what do you think of it? They have a 300 yard rifle range which I like, but ...

Re: Input needed

Well, Iam still an FNG here but a long time shooter and would like to say that the Sig P239 in 40S&W is one heck of a weapon. Night sights, anti snag melting if you wish. But out of the box one incredibly accurate and easy to maintain gun

Be well

Re: 9mm and $500

I would say get a Sig SP2022. It is a full sized 9mm that has a stainless slide (nitron coating) and a composite frame. It has the sweetest out of the box trigger that Sig makes. Accurate as hell and easy to maintain. 15 rounds in a mag and you are ready to go. this dealer is excellent: http://www.t...

I was thinking the exact same thing for my Spikes 22LR. What the heck, for $120 bucks??

Re: Ruger LC9

EJSG19, thanks for the Gen explanation re: Glocks. i started combat shooting with a Colt 1911that was customized for our LRRP team for free by Colt. One of the Supply guys had a cousin who was an exec for Colt and he did us a favor. he was a nice guy for doing that for us. I moved to Sigs about seve...

Re: Ruger LC9

Ah, yeah well if thats the case, I've looked at the sig p290 enough  It still may be a good gun. Maybe a rental would make up your mind. I'm sure it is a good gun, or will be. I'm a Glock guy though, so the less doo-hickies hanging off or out of the gun, the better. Glock does not have a micro...

Re: AR question?

Guys will be guys in most cases. We tend to recco what we have as none of us could make any mistakes. ;) i would suggest you hit ar15.com forums and get really educated there. I did and it helped a great deal. I was in Viet Nam for 18 months and used the M16 and M16B. I went to AR15.com because i kn...

Re: Ruger LC9

The p290 looks like one to consider for sure. Don't like any kind of exposed hammer on something I might, repeat might, want to consider the option of firing from inside a coat pocket. Piece of cloth between hammer and gun and its a show stopper... Can't figure out why somebody who designs firearms...
