Re: For those of us that reload : Keep Your Powder Dry

It's been on my to-do list for a while to build a storage cabinet / trunk of some sorts that would have some amount of fire containment. Question is for the quantity of powder that I have what would it take to actually contain that to some extent. Wouldn’t “containment” actually make matters worse?...

Re: What is the status of Coonan?

Well if they are talking Nov of 2018, they missed the mark. Nov 2019, holly Hana. I’m betting it was 2018.

Re: How Banks Unwittingly Finance Mass Shootings

CASH IS KING. Just saying. The “things” I buy on line have to be bought with a CC. Only one firearm has been bought with a CC sense 2005. Surprise buy. Now a lot of “equipment” has been purchased with a CC so there is a bit of a paper trail. Ok, I'll bite, what is a surprise buy? It just jumps in y...

Re: Bump fire stocks

So IF I had a bump stock and mounted it on a Maverick 88 pump shotgun, my shotgun would now be classified as a machine gun? I’d be changed as a felony for the bump stock and a machine gun. My pockets aren’t deep enough. I wonder if someone else’s are? For government employee reading this, I don’t ow...

Re: Anti-Gun Researchers Undermine the Anti-Gun Narrative

I didn’t read the entire article. The antis conclusion will be that if the laws didn’t do any good the only answer is a outright Ban and forced confiscation of ALL firearms.

Re: Black Friday gun deal.

From all the different LGS I’ve visited in the last couple of weeks, they all seem to have the red head step child 40sw firearms on sale. ALL of them. Same for the last gun show I attended. Just saying.

Re: Operator in Eden Prairie

If he had at least taken the permit to carry class and payed attention during the class he’d been light years ahead in this situation. All 3 permit classes I’ve taken, every instructor repeatedly stressed, keep your mouth shut except to ask for a lawyer or refuse a search. He was released because he...

Re: Purchase delayed

If I remember correctly NCIS is run by the FBI. Think about the s_ _ t storm the FBI is running in. I’m thinking that the CYA is taking up a bit of their time and resources. Also consider that our permit to carry no longer passes the sniff test to bypass the NCIS check. There may be other states tha...

Re: LePetomane is Back!!!!!

Some people have a need to hear their own voice. Some on the internet get excited and wet their pants when people are replying to their posts. They need attention. Good or bad.

Re: California bill to expand gun-takeaway law advances

I was told at a dog training session that the most dangerous dog was one that didn’t growl or bark. This was in regards to bark collars. I believe the analogy fits here.

Re: All Gun Charges Dropped

In ours the felony charges were dropped and the case returned to the city for the misdemeanor charges. The firearms won’t be returned until the city try’s its hand or drops its charges. Then he will need his lawyer again.
