Re: Hunters with Dogs

My German Shepherd doesn't have a problem with eating or shaking the hell out of the birds. He's been trained on frozen pigeons and pheasants as well as live pigeons... and they flop and flush and all and he will grab it and bring it back... He also doesn't play with squeaky toys so he doesn't have ...

Hunters with Dogs

Just curious who all hunts with mans best friend, what you hunt and what kind of dog you have. My German Shepherd just turned 8 month old and I've been training him to pheasant hunt. Being from South Dakota and seeing nothing but labs and pointers, I decided to take on a GS. His first "hunt&quo...

Re: Hornady case activated powder drop problem

UPDATE: Alright so I had the morning and afternoon off and went and fiddled with my press. I went slow and on the upstroke the shell plate clicked into place, went a little farther and snapped back. So the up stroke it went too far and had to fall back into place. So I set it back a little and on th...

Re: Hornady case activated powder drop problem

Actually I busted my drive hub 2 weeks ago, called Hornady and they sent a new one. Since I took the press apart the pawls were a little off. I did mess around with them a little and THOUGHT I got it back to normal. Because, yes, my shell plate does notch into place. Where as before the adjustment a...

Not every one but 1 out of 10. The retaining ring that holds the pistol powder sleeve is whats connecting with th...
