Yup. Used reloading equipment is like buying a used anvil. Not a lot to worry about. Only problem is paying good money for irrelevant old stuff that you may never need. Or really weird, old stuff where there are no replacement parts left (Like Herter's!). There are some details that enter into this...

whats c.o.l. are you running then? i'm going off some store bought ammo measurements, and when i put it in the mag it feeds fine, and when i cycle in through the gun (by hand) it kicks out and loads another shell no problem.

Can I ask what gun you are shooting? I've got a Ruger P95 4" barrel and am only reloading plinker paper ripping rounds. BUT I don't need to blow my gun up haha.

like i said ive reloading 1000 or so 45 acp and haven't had a squib load. i used to load trap shotshell 12 gauge with the clays. so ive been used to the clays.
