Re: M&P 40 conversion to 9mm

I purchased a .40 M&P and did a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel. I also purchased factory S&W 9mm mags. Since converting my barrel over 3 years ago I have not put my .40 caliber barrel back in it. I have lots of rounds down range with no issues. I too wanted the flexibility to shoot both Ca...

Re: Opinons on a USP 45

I went to the range today, and I brought the USP45 and M&P 9mm with me. I shot the 9mm to get a baseline then I went to the UPS45. First impressions were that the grip feels big compared to the M&P. I have the small back strap on the M&P as it is the most comfortable for my smaller hands...

Re: Opinons on a USP 45

Thanks for all the input. I purchased it last night and brought it home. As mentioned it is a variant 1 and came with 2 12 round mags, and the original box. The purpose of the purchase was because I always thought they were a neat looking pistol, it was priced right, and I could resell in the future ...

Opinons on a USP 45

I have an opportunity to purchase a low round count H&K USP45 for $550.00. I am curious what is the current market value and if this considered a good price. I like the way it feels and I am rather impressed in the build quality of the firearm. I typically shoot a full size 9mm M&P and I am ...

Deer hunting with Shotgun magazine extension

I understand that it only takes one and in the past I have never needed more than three.

It is more of a convenience thing than anything else. I just don't want a loose shell running around in my pockets, hunting bag or in the truck.

Deer hunting with Shotgun magazine extension

I have an 870 and have started using 3 inch shells. I can only carry 4 shells while hunting deer as opposed to the 5 of the 2 3/4. Does anyone know if it would be legal to hunt deer in MN with a magazine extension tube installed.
