Re: AR9 suggestions?

CMMG Banshee 45 ACP received yesterday (5-20). I returned it for frequent jamming on 4-28 after waiting for approval to return because of the COVID 19 virus. I put about 200 rounds through it. No problems. I used several varieties of 45 ACP; even my 200 gr SWC which they do not recommend using in t...

Re: My lightweight AR build

That's pretty light for a gun with that barrel length and an optic. Nice job!

Re: Low velocity AR pistol build for HD?

That's gotta be crazy, crazy loud for HD no? You could load a 9mm carbine / SBR and get that same muzzle energy with less powder, noise, etc. I'm getting 1320fps with a 124gn JHP 9mm in my little CZ Scorpion...480 ft-lbs It's not unbearably loud. just a little louder than a normal AR according to m...

Cant see the pics. Can you save the pics on your PC, then use the "upload attachment" tab below the text window?

Can't pick a Cerakote color

I don't know if this is even possible, but I thought I'd check. I'm looking for some site that I can upload a pic of my AR and then pick and choose different parts of the gun to change color on. Maybe not upload a pic but be able to choose parts to add, like handguards, stock pistol grips optics etc...

Re: Low velocity AR pistol build for HD?

Sbr them. I see no reason to SBR anything at this time. So many more benefits to not SBR'ing them. If braces go the way of the bump stock, I'll deal with it then. I'm more curious as to the low velocity in a 5.56 for a HD weapon. Why low velocity? Its such a low velocity because of the short barrel...

Low velocity AR pistol build for HD?

I had recently seen some cool AR pistol builds come in like the Saint Edge pistol, a certain BCM pistol, and a few others, and I really liked how lightweight and modern looking they were. Some of my AR's still have quad rails on them. I like them, but they seem dated now with the smooth M-Lok, and K...

Re: Glock 43 vs. SIG 365

I was in your same boat looking for a new EDC. I've decided on a Springfield Armory Hellcat. Same size as the Sig but 11+1 and 13+1 with the extended mag. How do you like the Hellcat? My current EDC is a Glock 30, and I'm considering going with something a bit lighter. I prefer an EDC that can carr...

Need optic suggestions

I'm building an AR9 and need a new optic, I want it to be a red dot sight. Being an FFL, I get a lot of questions on products so I like to try out lots of different ones, that being said, I don't want to get another one of what I already have or have used a lot of, but I only want ones that are &quo...

Re: AR9 suggestions?

Well I ended up ordering a CMMG Banshee upper with their RDB bolt/carrier and CMMG/Mean Arms Endomags. I'll be installing that on my pistol lower with an SBA3 brace. Those Endomags are kind of expensive, but I have over 30 Pmags that I got as a great deal on a bulk order once, and I got set up as a ...
