Re: New ATF final ruling: Pistol (Brace) vs SBR

My understanding is that an AR-15 pistol without a stabilization brace is simply a pistol. Unless it isn't. If they can find a picture of someone shouldering it online, then it is an SBR. Or they find something can be used as a brace in your possession. It needn't be attached to the firearm. That y...

Re: MOA shooting

Isn’t there still the whole “malls can’t ban guns because it’s the tenants choice” thing? If they put firearm detectors in and stop shoppers from carrying, wouldn’t that be illegal?

Or is the whole tenants choice thing gone these days?

Another Cali work around… I love it!

Someone came up with a brand new work around for Californias AWB using a .22lr 5 round magazine, “fixed” into the pistol grip of an AR, thereby making a 30 round magazine redundant and not subject to the AWB!

Reno May talks about it here.
Nice!

Re: GET A WARRANT - ATF Attempts Solvent Trap Confiscation

Holland&Holland wrote:When are we going to make suppressors a non-regulated over the counter item? They protect hearing and are a public safety item. That would be "common sense" gun control.

It’s not about common sense. It’s about control.

Re: ATF agents investigating a straw purchase?

3.If the dealer gives up their license (all paperwork has to get sent in then) Number 3 is the most worrisome option. Most people don’t keep their job forever and eventually, they’ll give up their FFL and have to send in every record they have. Boom, registration. I wonder if it would be a good ide...

westhope wrote:Most larger dealers today use a computerized 4473. How and where are those records kept?

There are software packages like “Gunstore Master” and a bunch of others but they should be controlled and stored in house and “shouldn’t” be accessible by “the man”.

Re: ATF agents investigating a straw purchase?

2.If the gun shows up at a crime and they run a trace on it. How do they even know if they are not keeping information? A trace works like this: Let’s say a Smith and Wesson M&P shows up at a crime scene, the ATF will call Smith and Wesson and say “We found this pistol with this serial number, ...

Re: ATF agents investigating a straw purchase?

WOW Appears like all guns purchased through FFL actually are registered when gov says we don't have gun registration. In this case, the customer bought multiple handguns within a 5 day period and the dealer has to fill out a separate form (multiple handgun transfer form) and send it to local LE and...

Becoming an instructor?

I'm a small time, home based gun dealer and have been for about 10 years. I do about 30-50 transfers a month for firearms and silencers. I also have a small private gun range in my backyard. Over the past 10 years or so, I've held four classes out here. Two classes for pistol training, and two conce...
