Re: We Answer Your Questions About Gutting The NFA

And then there's the ‘Once a Rifle, Always a Rifle’ Doctrine: Converting a pistol to a rifle is legal, going back from a rifle to a pistol would not be. From what I’ve understood, if it started life as a rifle, then it can’t be converted to a pistol, but if it starts life as a pistol, it can be mad...

Re: Pistol Carbines

I have a 9mm Uzi but damn than thing is heavy, and a more than a little clunky. It looks cool thought, but I wanted something that I could train with and have a smaller caliber, but still be as close to an AR15 as possible as it's my favorite platform. I got one of those .22LR conversion kits which ...

Re: Trump and his anti-gun agenda

If you file an eform 4 as an individual, most of them have been coming back in a few days not months. This has been going on for a few months now. Since actually before the election I think. My last trust one came back in about 3 weeks about a month ago. I thought that was fast. 24 hour, dang! Good...

Re: Trump and his anti-gun agenda

Well, part of the ATF is on the ball... Got a suppressor approved in less than 24 hours after getting the eforms done. Got to give them their due when they do their jobs... even if it might well be better that the job shouldn't include that. That is impressive on their part. Was this recent...like ...

Re: Trump quoted out of context, again

Leave it to the media to edit the clip the way it looks the worst for their opponent.
It doesn’t surprise me.

Re: Home Defense Shot gun

From the tests I saw, pretty much anything besides birdshot goes through multiple walls. The thing I like about 5.56 is that it breaks apart faster. So the pieces that do go into the neighbors house hopefully are smaller fragments rather than larger pieces. I’m still trying to find the perfect HD so...

Re: Home Defense Shot gun

I wouldn’t suggest one of those at all. When I had mine, it was uncomfortable, awkward to shoot, too much recoil, and hard to keep steady. If you’re looking for a HD shotgun, I’d get a regular stock, not with a pistol grip, with the shortest dimensions you can, 18.5” barrel and 26” overall length. P...

Re: Shipping a long gun to another state

I'm an FFL in Wisconsin. If you want to check actual shipping costs, just log on to one of the sites and check it. I checked with UPS since I use them a lot. I did my address in Wisconsin to 123 main street somewhere in California. I did a 15 pound box, 42"x12"x4" with 800.00 of insur...
