2/7 Hearings

I cannot make the morning hearings, but am going to try to get to the one at 6pm today. Does anyone know if there is a meeting place for the pro gun folks to gather prior like there has been for the a.m. hearings? I assume GORCA will be on site to I can get a badge or something to signify I am pro 2...

Re: Something to think about

A lot of people my age get their "news" and political info from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I will continue to call those people libtards. Especially the ones that like to bash FOX news. Bummer. I must be a 'libtard' (and I hate that term). And I'm no young pup. I don't 'get' my news...

Re: My view from the range at Bill's in Robbinsdale today

Jesus H. there seems to be a major problem around here with people being to not read exactly what I wrote and to assume their own incorrect meanings. My main issue with what you said was whaen you stated (quite specifically) that shooting a rifle at an indoor range, and at less than 400yds, was a w...

Re: My view from the range at Bill's in Robbinsdale today

I'm no ballistics expert, but wouldn't over penetration be less of an issue in a home defense situation than an AR in .223? Also, not to mention, the 'ire' that has been generated seems to be more about your assertion that shooting a rifle at any distance less than 400yds is a waste of time. I vehem...

Re: My view from the range at Bill's in Robbinsdale today

3) For the love of god, no rifles indoors.Shooting a rifle at less than 400 yards is pointless. It's like firing a pistol at a target 1 foot away from your nose.Rifles = distance. Use the outdoor range. Same thing for shotguns, trap, skeet, all outdoors. Is this some kind of joke? Since you have sa...

Re: My view from the range at Bill's in Robbinsdale today

I just read on their website that steel is a no go for their range Liberal Gun Owner You might want to check that. Steel projectiles are a no-no, as are aluminum cases. I've seen lots of steel cases rolling around on the floor. Steel cased ammo is fine. As XD Ed said, no steel core projectiles, and...

Bad Grades = AK-47 Treatment

We don't need guys like this on our side.... http://www.startribune.com/local/east/188377421.html A St. Paul man who recently purchased an assault rifle out of fear of an impending gun ban threatened his teenage daughter with it because she was getting two B's in school rather than straight A's, acc...
