Re: Ruger LCRx 3"

My mistake, I see what you're saying now. You are looking for a 3" .357Mag with exposed hammer. I have to agree, if they made one I would have to consider trading in my Model 60.

Re: Doctors Asking Parents about gun ownership

To be fair I dealt with two other MD's in MN after that guy without issue. The move was more for the weather and career change than the doctor.

Re: "If you know gun enthusiasts, turn them in"

If you're going to do that for the second why not do it for the first and fourteenth? Do you know someone organizing people to protest? Vet them. Do you know someone passing a petition you don't agree with? Vet them. Do you know someone leaving their home state and exercising one or more of the righ...

Re: Doctors Asking Parents about gun ownership

I was asked by my former doctor once after not answering on the form. I told him that wasn't his business. He went ahead and chewed me out and claimed it was his business when he had to come in to the emergency room because I accidentally shot myself or someone else. I let him know I was a responsib...

Re: Smooth out a Mini14 trigger?

I stoned mine. I took it slow and easy and didn't have a problem. I would mark the mating surfaces frequently with a sharpie just to make sure I wasn't stoning it unevenly. While I had it apart I also shortened the take up, lightened the pull to 3.5# and set up an over travel stop. I'm not recommend...

Re: Your One Gun

S&W 686 Plus. .357 Mag is one of the most flexible calibers and the 686 is easy to shoot.

Re: Broke my RCBS .223 decaping die

When I broke a rod and snapped a pin on a piece of gravel in a .223 case they sent me a rod and 5 spare pins to keep on hand. If I'm lucky I'll be able to find them when I need them.

Re: The First Bang Ping of 2014

I'm afraid I have to back out. I need the day to finish packing up for my move to Lubbock. Thanks Benny and China for the introduction to steel and competitive shooting.

What does "In the area" mean to you? MnGunTalk covers a lot of ground.

Judging by the subject line I believe santo is referring to the Minneapolis - St. Paul netro area.

Re: BLM stand-off in Nevada...close to 'war' or 'Range War'

Does anyone else think that this whole saga is just one African-American Sheriff away from a Mel Brooks movie?
