Re: How do you carry spare mags

I carry two mags on my weak side. And, I carry one mag on my strong side right in front of my holster at about 3 o'clock. My holster is at 4 o'clock. The reason I carry this way is that if my weak hand becomes injured I can drop my mag, holster my gun, grab the mag on my strong side (with bullets fa...

Re: DA/SA vs. DAO for Conceal Guns

Without a doubt it is personal preference! Proper gun safety plays a factor in it as well. I carry Glocks only because I hate having to remember to decock. I love my Sigs, but that decocking is a bite some times. Now, especially in a life threatening situation, you go to reholster and you forget to ...

Re: Advanced Pistol Fighting

We at ITC, feel that it is important to have someone to train with and develop your skill set. A lot of people are not motivated to attend a training course by themselves because they don’t know anyone and they don’t want to “look bad”. Most of our material is new, so everyone “is on the same level....

Re: 357 Sig

I've had a SIG P229 chambered in .357 Sig, as well as a Glock 32. Here is my opinion. You can reload them as I did when I owned that caliber. However, you have to be sure that you do things right because the bullets have a tendency to recess in the casing if you don't crimp it just right. Quite hone...

Re: DA/SA vs. DAO for Conceal Guns

Personally I do not care for the 1911 style guns. So, it would probably be a SIG DAO/DAK. The 250 has a pretty sweet trigger pull as well. It isn't much heavier than my Glock trigger pull. Advanced Pistol Fighting

April 26th & 27th, 2008 , Holmen, WI In this course we will teach you things you need to know and do to maximize your chances of survival from a self-defense aspect and not just from a “firearms” perspective. One of the issues is that if you focus on drawing your gun and not on surviving first, ...
