Re: Constitutional Carry and Self Defense Law Reform to be heard

CC scrapped, SYG moved out of committee as a standalone bill. Senate can't hear it, because it did not receive a hearing prior to the deadline for first reading. Bills are dead for 2017 Legislature. Daudt, Limmer, Gazelka- i.e. the Republican leadership, screwed gun owners, who voted for them. With ...

Re: Constitutional Carry and Self Defense Law Reform to be heard

Never vote dem, period. I'd like to hear the details before throwing republicans under the bus with gov dopey anyway. ^perfect example of useful idiot. The old school DFL on the Range (like David Dill) were consummate supporters of our gun rights. Republicans like Limmer and Gazelka are spineless l...

Re: Constitutional Carry and Self Defense Law Reform to be heard

The GOP leadership that are supposedly our allies, raped us without lube yet again. Perhaps a tad dramatic? Not at all. They ran on promises to support gun rights. When presented with the opportunity to take our rights back, they caved to MDA/Bloomberg. At best, they will put up a standalone bill. ...

Re: Constitutional Carry and Self Defense Law Reform to be heard

Omnibus bill dropped today, and there is no SYG or CC. The GOP leadership that are supposedly our allies, raped us without lube yet again. With great allies like Daudt, there is no need for MDA, Bloomberg and their ilk. :angryvillagers: Iron Range DFL'ers like Dill were at least our allies, and will...

Re: GOCRA?

Looks like they are accomplishing something. From their Facebook. GOCRA has received word from the Minnesota Attorney General's office that the federal BATF is recognizing the Minnesota P2P and the P2C as qualifying for the Brady-NICS exemption. More later as to effective date. Expect an open-lette...

Re: GOCRA?

If you have to ask what an organization is doing, the answer would seem to be pretty obvious. The MN gun owners Political Action Committee was formed as its own entity, in response to some very specific items and activities that only a PAC could do. Since that time, the PAC leadership created the MN...

Re: Anti-Civil Rights hearing in St. Paul 4/26/16

He spoke about this at the gun owners lobby day rally. Essentially what he's saying is a background check should be as simple as call in to somewhere and ask if this is a good person and they say yes or no, zero mention of what you're asking for. Could be used for anything even hiring a baby sitter...

Re: Anti-Civil Rights hearing in St. Paul 4/26/16

I was reading an article on the events at the capitol, and came across this. http://www.twincities.com/2016/04/27/gun-control-bills-get-a-big-crowd-but-little-action-likely/ Joe Olson, chair of the Minnesota Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance, said he would personally support a background check as lon...

Re: First Victim of Obama the king Orders

The guy's average is one gun a week for 12 years. ...snip... Neither of the linked articles says anything that defends this guy as a hobbyist. Additionally, if you read the passage "Some 428 of the guns were purchased from 2010 to early 2015, records show." thats what, 48 months? lets mak...

ATK buying Bushnell?

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/08/ ... WZ20130805

Looks like ATK is trying to take a large amount of the firearms accessory market. Wish I had been buying their stock when it was low :x

Re: Which Dillon?

From what I read, the casefeed might work on the 550 with rifle cartridges? But it's would take some serious tinkering it sounds like? For now, this is primarily going to be used for 223 for match loads. How cumbersome is the 550 with setting up the Dillion Case trimmer? How about setting up the cas...
