Re: P226 - threaded barrel vs non threaded

maybe some bogus citations like the guy in Minneapolis who got arrested for having hollowpoint bullets in his gun. Do you have a link or something to that story? I use hollowpoints and was unaware that anyone would think they were illegal for any reason. How do you even get a bogus charge for that?...

Re: Ammo Questions

Is this stuff any good? Looks like a great deal. $9 bucks for 50 if you buy more than 10. It has aluminum casing, not reloadable. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=CC3509&src=tpSlrHm For those that don't do links: CCI Blazer 9mm Luger 115gr F...

Re: Bad day at the range

You think I'm an anarchist? LOL. I’m not. I know we need government. We just need less than we have right now. If we start looking for them to monitor us at the range or tell us what we have to do before we can own or use a gun, that's going in the wrong direction. Does that mean there could be peop...

Banned? No. I don't think my attitude towards big government and security vs freedom is novel. I think there are plenty of people here that share that opinion.

Re: Bad day at the range

sadly, since people can't self-govern, government over-reach is inevitable. Freedom has it's price. Sometimes that price is the ability to accidentily kill yourself or be killed by the stupidity of others around you. Security has it's price too: Freedom I would rather be free. You are scaring them....

Re: Bad day at the range

During one session there, I didn't realize my target was too high. She came in and gave me an earful, but at the same time was very polite about it and explained the situation so I understood what I was doing wrong. She could have been an ass about it but she wasn't. I appreciate her attitude.

Exactly.

I would say the person that shot Cosby might be called 'unstable'. And if Cosby and/or his lady friend had a gun of their own, the outcome might have been different that night.

Re: Cosby on guns

I watched the CNN interview and according to the interview, it seems Cosby is ok with guns in general for things like HD, but doesn't want to see people walking around with them because 'some' people become unstable. It's hard to know how CNN has edited the interview or if I was seeing raw footage, ...

Re: Cosby on guns

Cosby said during the interview, which was taped Thursday afternoon, that he once owned a gun but no longer does.

I suspect Cosby lost his gun in a tragic boating accident and it's at the bottom of some lake or river.

Re: Cosby on guns

He says there is a need to get guns off the streets, and that people should be taught to use every possible alternative before shooting someone. Can't argue with this specific statement. The problem is the article doesn't expand on his comments and it's dripping with gun-control possibilities. I su...

So you can have printouts of anything you want, he can tell you anything you want to hear, but if they are not part of the agreement then it is tough luck. Yeah, you wouldn't ever want to trust anyone to stand by their word. Welcome to the adult table. Jeez, I guess you don't like the OP, since you...

Re: Front Sight Forum

So you got into a deal that clearly did not have all the details in writting(if they are then a lawyer would be in order) now you bitch that the other party is taking advantage of what you believe are gaps in the deal. Guess you should have read the fine print(or lack of it). This is why slick mark...
