Re: The Premier Bang Ping Results

You could make it more dramatic.

Leif P,
If you want to see your chair again, bring cash.
You know when and where to meet.

Then mail a piece of it wrapped in newspaper.

Re: 45-70 with Speer 405 grain projectiles

Yeah, I have doubts it's even possible to make something work.
I have a feeling that by the time you stuff enough powder in to get reliable ignition, pressure is going to be through the roof.

Re: 45-70 with Speer 405 grain projectiles

OK, I'll answer. It's an interesting question. 1 - Need to know what gun. I would think most lever actions would fail. Ruger No.1 might work though. Not sure about an Encore/Contender. 2 - Don't cry when you blow something up. 3 - Keep a squib rod handy. 4 - Performance will suck more than an Oreck ...

Re: The Antepenultimate Bang Ping.

Wait, there's going to be one in November?
Or is there some super secret invite only thing?
Or you just really, really thought it was still August.

Re: Burnsville Winter Action Pistol League 2015-16

Although I would not shoot it (too cheap to buy a RDS), I am all for Welfare Open.

Re: How many rounds through a handgun per range session?

Don't worry about it. You won't be able to hang on long enough to eject the spent cases from the wheel guns looong before you get it hot enough to break something.

Re: New .223 Rifle

I have a CZ 527 Varmint. I love the set trigger on it.
They had CZs at Little Crow last time I was there, but I don't recall if there was a Varmint SKU. Might be worth a trip that way to check it out. Otherwise the Savage would be a great choice IMO.

Re: Review: Little Crow Gunworks W.F.T.

I have mine set at 1.751". It's spot on.
It was too much of a PITA to get it to 1.750".

Re: elite deal seaker is closed

do you think its good enough that if one of the talented people on here were to put something together like it that they could turn it into a commercial site? Sounds like its possible but there is no financial incentive to resurrect/recreate it. It's GPL and there is enough info in this thread to g...

Re: elite deal seaker is closed

See, that's the problem. If someone used it, I would move it somewhere more reliable. But I just checked and it looks like it hasn't been crawling 'gunstuff' in over two weeks. Some of the other sections work fine. Oh well.
I'll let it die.
