Re: Bump fire stocks

To be fair they are allowed to destroy them as well correct? Some may have done that. I do not know that I would die on a hill (literally) over a bump stock. Especially when the NRA and Trump effed us over on this one. Never shot one so I can't say if I would or wouldn't. Ditto Seems silly to me......

Re: Officer involved shooting St Paul

Hate to break it to Nakima, but she ain't going to be the next Al Sharpton riding this event. Doesn't get any more clear cut than what happened here. Where's the justice for the officer who has to replay that event in his mind over and over for the rest of his life. My opinion is that the martyrdom ...

I can only guess that you fellas haven't had the hand parched rice right from the reservation. That stuff is like gold. The commercial crap you get in the grocery store is mostly no worth the ...

Re: Duck season

25 total for both mornings. One lone goose. Mostly Teal couple of immature mallard drakes, woodies were conspicuously absent. Too hot to hunt beyond 10 on Saturday. Sat in the rain for about a half hour on Saturday morning, birds were moving after that. Sunday was cooler and more comfortable, but la...

Re: Ted Nugent says new Michigan hunting rules will trigger...

It is if the style of hunting is what you know. It gets scary thinking about not getting your deer every year because you are used to hunting over bait. Takes more time, effort and skill to not hunt over piles of corn. I don't think Uncle Ted is choosing his battles wisely. I don't have a lot of res...

Re: Anti-gun people are different

I was cringing at the news story with footage of the St Paul police meeting with citizens on the topic of recent violence and Officer involved shootings. One woman asked why they needed to shoot to kill, why couldn't they just shoot them in the arm or leg or knee or something......... Don't know why...

Shipping a scope for warranty repairs.

I have an old Leopold scope that has a super tight variable power ring. I've been told that they can correct that. I no longer have a box for it, any suggestions on mailing it? I want to do a good job protecting it, but don't want to go overboard. Bubble wrap in a bulk rate box or envelope?

Re: Harrisburg, PA Lawsuit Bigger Win For 2A Than It Might Seem

Doesn't the very existence of the Statute prove Preemption? To be compliant, one would need to not own an item that the Second Amendment language states should not be restricted. Granted, punishment is not meted out until you are caught, but the spirit is preemption.

Re: Anti-gun people are different

I understand there has been a surge of permits among women in the areas most recently highlighted in recent news stories about violent crime. After all guns are a great force multiplier.

Re: Anti-gun people are different

It would take hiring a PR firm to help develop and coordinate the message. If the NRA wasn't paying attorneys to battle the many legal entanglements, they could pivot to addressing a media campaign. It could be done on a more regional level but either way it would take $$$$$ Bloomberg /Soros kind of...

Re: Anti-gun people are different

We are in an echo chamber. The question should be how can we get the contrasting message out to the masses and interrupt the constant drone from the antis?

Re: San Francisco officials brand NRA a ‘domestic terrorist org'

Big issue here is that the NRAis now pouring money into legal actions not related directly to combating 2A erosion. That is another tactic of the left, sap the resources by tying you up in litigation. Bleed you dry and force you to a weaker position because you cannot sustain operations while fighti...
