Re: 2024 NRA Board Election Reform Candidates

Always perplexing not knowing where to go to get information on those seeking election. Even the 4 presented are not presented with a clear idea of what voting for them means - REFORM CANDIDATE - means what? The reason the vote turn out is so low is that we have no idea what any of these people are ...

Server is slow. Is everyone having this issue?

Howdy, Back after a hiatus and noticed that every click to a new tab or area has a very long lag. Is that due to the servers running this board? Like I say, I've been gone for a while and normally log in on my phone. I gave up many times trying to log in on my phone in the last ~6 months. I thought ...

Re: Duck season

Teviving an old thread. Any duck hunters on this board? First 2 weekends were great out west near Morris/ Herman. Lots of teal but started to see pintails and a few redheads. Dog was lightsout. Tons of rain both outings, but hunting was good and gave us practice taking down the Shotguns to dry and l...

Re: Hunting rufle trigger weight

Quick, overdue update. Ahlmans made the adjustment and replaced the cracked plastic bolt shroud with an aftermarket aluminum piece. 3.5 lbs does feel correct.

Re: Forever chemicals’ in deer, fish challenge hunters, tourism

Hard to say how much panic mongering is done to disrupt activities that are "frowned upon" by the usual antagonists. I also wonder what the guidance is for threshold levels before a level of danger is reached. Better if there were no traces at all, but that ship has sailed. I fear the inte...

Re: Hunting rufle trigger weight

It all depends on the rifle use and what weight you are use to having. On a Fall hunting rifle "I" like 2.5 pounds. On a Varmint rifle "I" like 1 pound or less and crisp. On my 50BMG Target rifle "I" like 12 ounces and crisp with NO safety - the safety is an open bolt....

Re: Hunting rufle trigger weight

This os primarily heated blind deer rifle. I am tempted to buy a trigger scale to measure what my Remington trigger is and duplicate it. Barring that I think 3.5 sounds right. The Tikka trigger breaks nicely....the Remington not as nice....

Re: Minneapolis staffing ‘crisis’ spreads as workers shot at, as

The recent Memphis hullabaloo regarding the "gang" of cops who beat a guy to death was purported to have been a result of skippthe normal hiring process and fast tracking nominations from a council member.......
Is that where we are headed. Roaming bands of thugs with badges.....?

Re: Minnesota Legislature needs to take action to strengthen gun

Maybe try stopping the gang banger culture and fix the broken court system that keeps kicking them back out into the streets. The voters in the metro have buried their heads in sand about what the problem is and we are suffering the consequences. The issue is not going to solved by punishing the gu...

Re: This Makes Us Look Bad

How about banning hammers after the reported assault of Paul Pelosi in his SF home. Common sense hammer control is long overdue.

Back to the FBI. Even a little commentary on the POS Mueller for INOR. The FBI Should Be Nuked From Orbit ,,,snipped Thanks, I was just going to remark that this thread has morphed from commentary about an act of tyranny, to fast 'food' restaurant reviews. And just wait until those 86,000 irs agent...
