Gun storage Question...

I'm leaving out of town for 6 weeks for work. I am looking for the best way to store guns for this time period. I am planning on a safe when I return, an I know this is the best storage option with a temp of 65 and humidity of 65. For now its not an option. All my guns are higher end and I would be ...

Re: Boot selection

For the best over all selections, wear ability, reliability, versatility, and a real warranty. Get Redwings. Hands down some of the best boots made. Unless you want to spend $600 on a pair of whites. Ive had Danners, Cabela's, and others. You can buy Cabelas, but you are just getting a name. Danners...

AR-15 5.56 with a 1/9 twist BEST bullet grain weight.

I'm wondering what peoples experience is with bullet weight. I have a few AR's and am trying to find the most effective grain weight for +300 yrd's. I have a 20" barrel with a 1/9 twist. The standard I have been shooting is 55gr FMJ. Can you get more accuracy out of a different weight or bullet...

Re: Some place to shoot....

I second that question. It would be able to be able to shoot at over 10 yards. Id be willing to pay a fee for the right place. I'm in Chaska, MN so close would be nice.

Re: Military ID count as Permit for Private CYA?

Gustavs01, In MN a military ID will not work as a PTP (only in certain states). He can how ever have the business selling him the gun do a 1 time PTP at the store. It costs I think $25 and then all he has to do is wait on the the NICS check. If the store does it, it is only for that purchase as a PT...

Re: Military ID count as Permit for Private CYA?

Legally a private seller/purchaser is not required to give any form of ID. It's up to the parties involved. Military Id's can be issued in stages of military duty. You can get reserve cards, active cards, retired cards, and etc.. Now they are changing military Id's to not have the SS# (A number I wo...

Re: Para carry 12-.45 LDA New toy

Went and sent a few down range. The LDA is great. I understand some don't like it, but its fast real fast. This is the double stack, so it's way thicker in comparison to my Colt Delta elite 10mm. It will take a bit to get use to. It's not for my carry but I wouldn't hesitate to use it for that reaso...

Para carry 12-.45 LDA New toy

I've debated between a Kimber and a Para for a while. I like the Kimbers great looking gun's. Now I don't want a gun that is shiny like a penny. I want one that is a shooter. I want a gun that can get dirty, and still put holes in things. I went with this Para Ordnance carry 12 LDA. It has been modd...
