Re: Electronic powder measure suggestions wanted

I use an old RCBS Powder Pro scale and dispenser, works great. Except for the color, it’s the same as the PACT scale and dispenser.

Re: .44 mag - what barrel length?

I had 3 .44 mags. A 8-3/8 inch model 29, 4 and 6 inch 629s.

The 8-3/8 inch model 29 is my favorite range gun, I often carry the 4 inch 629.

I sold the 6 inch 629, never used it.

Re: Never mind... I found out the answer

My son has had one forever, his is stainless, has the little lanyard loop. Heavy, ugly, lousy trigger and 100% reliable.

PTC renewal took 3 days

The Mrs. and I submitted our PTC renewal applications to the Anoka County Sheriff's office on Tuesday afternoon, we received the new permits in the mail on Friday. Impressive efficacy. The cost for renewals has also been reduced to $50.

Re: SAR K2P

Took it out Beaverbrook yesterday, it was 18 degrees so we didn't do any sight adjustments, just shot it. 200 rounds of 115 gr FMJ reloads, the gun worked perfectly. It does shoot a little low.

The Grandson came along to help me burn up ammo, he had no complaints.

Re: Plinking/Varmint Rifle: .22 mag or .17 HMR ?

I had a 77/17 Ruger 17 HMR, the accuracy on a calm day was excellent. However, in my opinion, the terminal ballistics sucks. I like to see some splat when I hit a prairie dog. If your sold on a rimfire, I'd say 17 HMR for plinking, but give me the .22 mag for varmints. I don't own either them anymor...

SAR K2P

Anyone else have a SAR K2P 9mm? I didn't have a 9mm anymore, but I did have a bunch of 9mm ammo and a couple thousand Precision Delta 9mm bullets. I saw that CDNN had the SAR K2P 9mm on Gun Broker for $249. I really like my SAR K2 .45, It's worked flawlessly for me. So,I thought for $249 the K2P was...

Re: Bolt action photo thread

This is one of my newer rifles, but it quickly became one of my favorites.

It's Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather .300 WSM with a Kahles 3 x 9.

Re: Beaverbrook gun club now open to the Public

Road conditions vary. Depending on the weather, the amount of traffic and how long it's been since the City graded the road. It's does get little rough at times. Maybe I'm just used to it because I've been traveling on Klondike so much for so long. But I think for a gravel road that gets as much tra...

Re: Lyman #55 powder measure

The lock ring is Lyman # 7990265, the manual doesn't say what the threads are. If it's a 9/16-18 thread like some of the old dies were, they can be had on ebay $6.00 including shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lyman-New-Old-Stock-9-16-X-18-TPI-Lock-Ring-Reloading-Lot-Fits-Lyman-/22238709...
