Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

I ordered two more cans from Atomic. A Thunderbeast Ultra-9 for my GAP-10 and a SilencerCo Osprey-45 for my P220. Checks cashed 11/12/15. Now the 3-4 month wait! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would definitely go through them again, but the drive is a day trip. A couple months ago my lgs just...

Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

That's extremely unusual. Did you send it registered mail with signature receipt? Are you certain you sent to the correct address? The check is usually cashed within a week of being mailed. 2 months to cash the check is ridiculous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh, sorry for the confusion. Pur...

Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

Hey guys, Just a reminder! If you are in the process or have already gotten your stamps back please log the dates on NFATracker.com . Re: Eotech XPS2

Looks nice. I should have got that one. My 512 already crapped out on me. Reticle fades on right side of window. I guess it's common. This 512 has seen no combat Eotech has really exceptional customer service. They'll fix that sucker right up for you and get it back in very short order. They are, s...

Re: Rep Tony Cornish response

Watching the "House Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee" live I am starting to gain a lot of respect for a number of our representatives. In the background of these speakers I can also see all red GOCRA shirts and yellow pins. From the first testimony's response by Tony Cornish I co...

Re: Handgun Transfer Legalities

I came to the conclusion that private handgun sales in MN do not require a transfer permit if you know they arent going to commit a crime with the firearm... Wait, what? 609.66 DANGEROUS WEAPONS. Subd. 1f.Gross misdemeanor; transferring firearm without background check. A person, other than a feder...

Re: Handgun Transfer Legalities

So I guess my question in response to the first statement is, what exactly is the difference between a private sale and transferring? MY understanding on the parent buying for their child child situation, is that it isnt a straw purchase if the parent is paying for it with their own money (ie. the k...

Handgun Transfer Legalities

After searching around I came up with a few different threads on similar subjects, but nothing that specifically pertains to my question. I had always heard that a person may legally buy a handgun via private sale if they are 18 and from a FFL if they are 21 and have a permit to purchase. This makes...

Re: CZ 75B - FINALLY!

LOL Sparky. I do want to upgrade the grips sooner or later. Ive toyed with the idea of the vz g10 grips as they really make the gun pop, but I feel like wood is much more classy.

CZ 75B - FINALLY!

After nearly a year of researching and waiting to get myself a CZ 75 b.... I DID! its almost a surreal experience to finally have it in front of me after seeing it online for so long. I put approx. 200 rounds through it right after I took it home and cleaned it. Not surprisingly it ran flawlessly. I...

Re: Public Shooting Areas Near Winona?

LOL, that's understandable. On the topic of driving around to look I think it would be hard to know who's land I'm on and if it was a good location how would I go about verifying that it is state forest rather than private land or WMA and so on?
