I never intend to carry my rifle in public at all but all the legal terms and how it is written is very confusing to me. I feel like this question can be answered easier but people are choosing not to.

I understand you can carry a shotgun and so on while hunting. I have been told numerous times that IF I wanted to I could not say carry my loaded AR15 on my back walking down the street in MN. I would not do this for one of the same reasons I don't open carry a pistol.

So then from what I am reading in this thread I can legally carry a loaded long gun in public as long as I legally own the gun with no other credentials needed? I am not going to do this but just curious.

So let me get this straight you can carry a loaded long gun in public if you have a MN PTC? Because I have always been told the opposite?

I will say before you assemble your lower, decide if the standard trigger guard is what you want, the bolt release is what you want and if you want an end plate with sling mounts or not. You are correct. There will never be more than the original post as mentioned in the instructions. Bump is done by the bump button on your post. There is no more bump button.
