Re: Vests?

I have to admit when i saw this my initial reaction was that this had mall ninja written all over it. I still stuggle to find a realistic senario that a civilian would need/use one of these. I guess in an hd situation it is at the very least plausible that one might have the time to go ahead and thr...

Re: 1911 question

Both are fantastic guns without a doubt. If i had to choose one it would be the ed brown hands down. Not to take anything away from the dan wesson, again great guns, but just not on the same level as ed brown. I do think you would be well served either way and the bobtail not only looks cool but wil...

Re: Surefire 60 shot magazine

I have had mine for about 3 months now. I have run maybe 400-500 rounds through it with no issues at all. I have been nothing but happy with it and would buy more in a second if they werent so expensive. I was skeptical at first of the follower but it has been great so far.

.327 federal mag?

I have the oppertunity to pick up a ruger revolver from a friend for a pretty good price. If i remember correctly its an sp101, ive shot it a couple times and its a fun gun to shoot. Get a membership at a private range, or start competing. If you do some USPSA you will get all the draw practice you could ever want.

I plan to do both. Just trying to get an idea of ranges that allow it, so i can start looking into joining/ getting on a waiting list. Thanks for the info!

Re: Bang Ping - What the cobbler threw at his wife.

I appologize in advance for my ignorance on this. Is this open to anybody? Or do you need to be a member of a club or have certain experience with competitive shooting? This sounds like something i would love to try but i have no competitive shooting experience what so ever(other than a trap league)...
