Re: Best mouse gun?

My LCP has always been good. Though I hated it until I installed the Hogue grip. The only time it has malfunctioned was the one time I tried shooting some Buffalo Bore +P++ Super whammy loads. Bought them during the ammo crisis a few years ago and it was the only thing I could fine.

Re: Fixed vs. Adjustable Stock

You're tall enough that I don't think you'll have any issues with length of pull even with several layers on. As long as your cheek weld is good and it naturally lines your up eye with your optics, no great reason to go away from the M2. On my yote rig I'm running a Luth MBA, because i'm using a DPM...

Re: Some Midway Competition Range Bags on Clearance $33.98

That's a lot of bag for $34. I've been dragging mine around matches for years without skipping a beat. I've had that thing loaded so heavy it was difficult to pick up.

Re: Mn Permit to Carry Satisfies Background Check

What's the big deal about a dealer doing a background check? It takes about 5 to 10 minutes on the phone with NICIS. It is a big deal if you get delayed every freaking time with explanation as to why. I've quit going to gun shows all together, because every time I do find a deal, I get delayed on t...

Re: Home gunsmithing gone wrong

My first question after seeing this posted elsewhere was "are we really sure the booger hook didn't hit the bang button". Then I saw pictures of the holster and it definitely looks like it went off fully seated.

Re: How can I tell if powder is bad or to old to use?

I'm loading 55gr FMJ's 5.56 rounds with pulldown powder from the Vietnam war. Shoots great! In fact there's probably more than a couple bench rest shooters out there that would lose their minds over me using Walt Bergers Thunderbid T-322 to load 5.56 ball ammo.

Re: Why I abandoned the AR 15..............

Guy lost me as soon as he started talking about buffers. A carbine length gas system will typically run on everything from an H3 buffer to a completely gutted H1. I know this because I've tried it. Two of my rifles have been running for years with no weights in the buffer. Shoot you can even replace...

Re: Do all Hunting rig, $1000 budget.

If I had to pick one gun to do everything from shooting varmints to taking elk it would be a bolt gun in 7mm Rem Mag. Shoots bullets from 120-180 grain. Ammo available virtually everywhere. Flat shooting and hard hitting. I'd rather have a rifle that's overkill on the small stuff than underkill on t...

I concur.

What is this thread about again? So if I buy a cheap crappy pistol my Glock is going to melt? Wait, I no longer own a Glock........whew, that was a close one.

Re: .22 LR

Bought .22 ammo today at my local small town hardware store with plenty still left on the shelf. Federal Auto-match for $19 per 325 pack. First time this has happened in at least 2-3 years. I think we may finally be done with this mess.
