Re: Need Tripod Advice

I've been following this Topic with great concern about weight capacity of Tripods. The Tripod from Hogsaddle.com seem to be best but limited to 26 pounds maximum. I have a hacksaw, a bastard file, and a thread file you can borrow. :exactly:

You would need to post pictures here before, during, and after of your project. :booyah:

RPR 338 Lapua Magnum

Not enough horsepower for the King Of 2-Mile competition. I will take to Alliance for un-official 1000 yard sight-in on 4" clay pigeons. There is a competition in Kansas of 2200 yards = MAYBE. 338 Lapua Magnum is good for 1.5 miles (2640 yards) stretched to 1.75 miles (3080 yards) but not for 2...

RPR 338 Lapua Magnum

Thank you for the rifle - a cartridge I had no intention to shoot but which I now love. I have a Thomson-Center Contender pistol chambered in 444Marlin which I call Big-Bore while shooting 300-350 cast lead projectiles. You can try it if you want something different. A few members have tried it to o...

Re: Odd looking range pick ups

Based on content of last posting, I would need pictures of both to make that decision.

Based on topic, the odd ones I see are 300 Win Mag cases fired in a 300 Weatherby Mag chamber ---- and other like comparisons.

Anyone have one in a AR setup? ....... Thanks. My Beo hits 6 inch steel at 200 yards with 460gr lead semi wadcutters, so I am very happy as is. Big bore thumpers are such fun! My 0.5105" 808 grain brass solid Big Bore Thumper is 50BMG in an AR setup - - - - An AR -50 setup that is. (to be corr...

Re: Feral hog hunting, best strategy?

Back to Topic:

Farmers trying to get rid of Feral Hogs have no qualms about using Tannerite buckets near a food source. Large amounts is required to achieve a large result.

Ethical hunting - NO, but will reduce crop damages and other hogs will clean up the carnage.
