Re: Minnesota Adopts the Illinois Model of Assault Weapon Bans

[b} I see this as the Creation of a new Class of Criminals in Minnesota. [/b] Will you have the same Rights as Current Criminals with get out of jail free cards? I'm ordering a large magnet as I expect mass fishing accidents to occur. (Please tell where and when so my magnet can retrieve before any ...

Re: 50 BMG ammo at Scheels

I reload it to my MATCH Quality standards for $3.00 per round. (My cost - even less if once fired brass is considered free.)

Re: Who is good for changing barrel AR10

I'm afraid if I watched YouTube videos I would find out I did my AR-15 re-barrel incorrectly, but damn - it sure eats 223REM and 5.56X45 ammo at a rapid pace with no interruptions.

The correct tools and a lot of common sense will result in a proper installation.

Re: Extreme Long Range-Sniper Rifle

Re: Second Saturday Breakfast - 10 February

EDIT Will NOT be there - still recovering from latest surgery. The recovery from the TURP procedure is longer than I ever expected, and I can sure make a mess quickly. Sincerely hope there is good attendance as our TALKs are very informative and covers a broad array of topics. Once I'm fully healed ...

Re: Who is good for changing barrel AR10

I have the dedicated AR action wrench - makes for easy barrel swaps into AR-15 or AR-10 uppers.

You are welcome to borrow it and I can give you tips on how to use it properly.

(I am going under the knife again and will be down for several weeks, but at home.)

Re: Extreme Long Range-Sniper Rifle

Barrett has probably already won that contract with their release of the MRADELR rifle system available in multiple cartridges like the 416 Barrett which is a shortened 50BMG cartridge. Other rifles could be better like the Cadex but Barrett has the lock on the market (I personally would like to see...

Re: Extreme Long Range-Sniper Rifle

Just join our sport called King of 2-Mile where we are currently shooting out past 4400 yards and making consistent hits on target. There are other groups specializing in ELR competitions in both Light and Heavy classes.

Re: Evil Black Rifle photo thread

for sh!ts and giggles, I put a nightforce competition 12-42x56 scope on one of my ar-15's in 223 rem.

scope was bigger than rifle.

then went back to a less value 3-10x 50 scope.

my old ar-10 had military issue peep sights - my son with good eyes uses it now.

Yes, you were getting too excited about your CHRISTmas present.

Sunday afternoon in Woodbury, if that works for you.
