Ruger branded pistol grip and trigger from AR-556 - $30

Single stage factory trigger assembly from Ruger AR-556. This trigger is pretty typical milspec - heavy, a little gritty, etc. Comes with a Ruger plastic chassis and Ruger branded pistol grip (but no safety/selector assembly or pistol grip screw). Good to keep as a spare, for a cheap spare parts bui...

Re: Reduced pressure load .223

Thanks All, and thanks Larry for that Primer Chart that you'd posted in the other thread. Interestingly enough I'd not been aware to avoid using CCI 400 primers in AR-15 platform - I've encountered no pierced primers to date, even with loads approaching maximum according to Hogdon load data. I'll no...

Reduced pressure load .223

I mistakenly purchased Remington 6 1/2 primers, didn't see the tiny print that I shouldn't use these for .223 or other "high intensity" cartridges. . . Caveat emptor I guess. I have an AR and also a bolt action .223. Anyone used these primers for safe reduced loads in .223 with a 55gr FMJ ...

Thanks all, I'll see if Anderson wants me to send it back or if they tell me to try to break out the drill. . .

Re: Selector issue with AR build

Sorry all, I'm having trouble uploading an image and having trouble generally posting :( Hope this goes through. I am using an a Magpul K2+ grip. The conical part of the detent sticks through, but not the cylindrical portion. I am pretty certain is the right spring. The drill bit does not go through...

Selector issue with AR build

I am trying to build a lower and am encountering issues with the selector. It doesn't seem to want to click to engage safety or click to select fire, just kinda swings loose. Detent is installed with pointy end first and I don't think I kinked the spring. Tried two different selectors, AR Stoner and...

Re: Senate Democrats propose tougher gun restrictions

Part of me hopes they pull that so I can helpfully send my representative an enumerated MS Paint photo of my 686+ with 7 "holes", and my 617 with *gasp* 10! They'll only be happy when we are limited to single shot muzzle loading muskets because "that's what they had when the Constitut...
