Re: Headed out to Yellowstone, bring pistol for hiking?

Thanks for the replies... At least the helpful on topic ones. Gonna pick up some bear spray to bring with as well. I made my own kydex magazine holster the other day and I'm going to try out making one for the FN as we'll this week. I'll try and remember to post a pic when I get done. Thanks again!

Re: Headed out to Yellowstone, bring pistol for hiking?

Ok let's stay focused here people. I only own 2x 9mm and 1x 380auto pistol. The best option of them is a 16+1 fnp9 with two extra mags. I'm hoping that I won't come up against ANY aggressive animal but having something is better than having nothing right!? I'm not interested in how mocho you are wit...

Re: Headed out to Yellowstone, bring pistol for hiking?

That all being said -- no one batted an eye at open carry into the backcountry in Yellowstone, but cover it up if you're visiting Old Faithful - otherwise the Japanese tourists treat you as a curiosity and take pictures with you. lol at the Japanese tourist comment... I would have never thought of ...

Headed out to Yellowstone, bring pistol for hiking?

the family and I are headed out to Yellowstone area, staying in Montana, for a long week before school starts. We are planning on doing some hiking and possibly some ATV riding. When talking to the ATV outfitter i asked him 'is it crazy of me to consider carrying a pistol while in the back country'?...

Re: My Carry Cunundrum - Kahr CW9 or PM9 or KM9

My brother runs a CW9 and loves it, but he's pretty big and can't grip a PM9/CM9 because it's too small for his hands. ya as far as reviews on these line of guns i see that people mention that 'if you have larger hands then it could be small for you...' I don't consider myself to have small hands a...

Re: My Carry Cunundrum - Kahr CW9 or PM9 or KM9

great reviews. Thanks. I've been doing a lot of reading up on these three guns and i'm torn which is the 'right' one for me. I borrowed my friends PM9 this weekend and forgot he has an Uncle Mikes rubber grip band over the handle which makes it awesomely comfy in the hand and grips awesome while sho...

Re: My Carry Cunundrum - Kahr CW9 or PM9 or KM9

Between the three, or the ones you owned, could you feel if there was any difference in the trigger at all?

Any difference in the comfort of the handle? I'm assuming the CM9 an the PM9 have the same exact handle.

My Carry Cunundrum - Kahr CW9 or PM9 or KM9

I've had a few years to drag my feet on this and I've narrowed it down. Wife has the LCP - my opinion is that it's kinda crappy. Sucky ass open sights, and long stiff trigger pull My home defense gun is a FNP9 - way too big for me to carry on a daily basis. I've borrowed a Glock 26 - Just not impres...

New Condition laptop for trade

I have an extra laptop that I do not use or need anymore. The model is a HP 8440p. Besides a little dust and finger prints its still in new condition. It's licensed for windows 7 Professional. If i had to guess, it probably only has around 12 hours of running time. Why am i wanting to get rid of it?...

Re: FN Pistol

My wife bought me my first hand gun for Christmas last year, which was the dark earth colored FNP-9. I vastly prefer the grip and feel of the fnp over the fnx. When i was looking for my first pistol in the gun shops this one felt the best in my hand. Also I felt it had a better feeling trigger break...

Re: Is now a good time to buy a gun?

Now is always a good time to buy. I've never had a gun lose value. As long as you don't damage them - they are always good investment. And like all things that go up in value the more you wait the more you pay. Come see us at Armzen Arms after Nov 1st and we will be sure to find you the right gun a...

Is now a good time to buy a gun?

My wife and I just hosted a Conceal and Carry class a week ago and we still haven't applied for the permit it carry. She has a small 380 which she might carry. Mine is a full framed 9mm i got for home defense. I want to get a 380 as well for carry and this is where my problem lies. Normally I would ...
