Re: Gotta love Texas

45abc45 I hope you are happy. These guys justa wasted probably 5 minuets of their lives checking up on a story posted on an interweb forum. That 5 minutes could have been put to better use posting in one of the many "Christmas" threads, or pointing out spelling, punctuation, and grammar m...

Re: Gotta love Texas

Bullsh!t. https://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.mystery/browse_thread/thread/ec7b367f5d9cd377 Not only is the 'story' written by what appears to be a 2nd grader (spelling, punctuation, grammatical errors), no newspaper would print such tripe without the alleged victim's name, ...

Re: Sig question ...

I have a 1979 P6 that feeds everything including HPs. The feed ramp change over was 1989. The problem with some of the older barrels was the shape of the bullet which either caused it to nosedive into the ramp or not chamber fully. The profile of the 147gr seemed to be prone to the latter. As to the...

Re: Sig question ...

I've shot literally thousands of rounds of 147gr BHA through 9mm Sigs of all kinds without any problem at all. In fact I have about 1000 rounds in my cupboard right now. He's full of shyte.

Re: Looking for good home for Black Lab

Keep looking, but I'll work on the wife a bit and see if I can't persuade her. I think she may be weakening ;)

What's he like in cars? If I took him, he'd have to come to work with me in the squad.

Re: Is anyone here in a militia?

But perhaps you're looking for a more formal organization. I googled "Minnesota militia" and found, among a lot of other stuff, something called " MILITIA HQ ", a sample of which follows: The Minnesota Militia was revived in 1992 and silently networked. In 1993 a CALL TO ARMS was...

Re: Update: Gate Crashing - Secret Service...

Because of the high number of malicious complaints, and the egregiousness of treating one officer differently to another, everyone gets put on administrative leave until the investigation is complete. if they didn't do that you'd have this scenario: Officer A: subject of a complaint from Mr. White (...

Re: FTF Handgun sale/purchase

The law doesn't require you to do anything (if it's FTF with another MN resident) other than exercise due diligence. However CYA would behoove you to take the advice proffered above.

Re: new TV show LAWMAN with Steven Seagal

OTOH, I believe he actually is a sworn reserve deputy and has been for a long time. Elvis was a "Deputy" (in Tennessee) and a special "Agent-at-Large" of the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. I wouldn't exactly call him much of a Lawman either. I didn't see (and ha...

Re: new TV show LAWMAN with Steven Seagal

I notice that 'because he's studied martial arts' he knows stuff....or something.

OTOH, I believe he actually is a sworn reserve deputy and has been for a long time. I don't know about the rest of his schtick. As to whether he's a dick....that's another matter.

Re: Free (except for shipping) Tommy's Gunpacks

I think that, understandably, they've been inundated with orders. Mine showed 'processing' right up to the day it got delivered.
