I agree with Sen John Pederson's comment - now is the time to contact Gov Dayton. We can't assume he will veto this. A strong response from the community that we need this bill should be sent. It would help if Dayton would receive messages from working LEOs to counter the message sent by the police ...

Let's hope the next administration reverses these directives rather than just letting them continue.
