Re: Home Defense Shotgun Training?

I think Joe forgot he and the Mrs. have a Secret Service detail assigned to them 24x7. Not sure why he wants Mrs. joe blasting a double barrel in the middle of the night unless he's hoping the SS might take her as an enemy combatant. :o That being said, I'll toss another vote towards the 4 day defen...

Re: FNH SLP MK I Competition

Nice color. Aside from that, do you know what the other differences are being the Mk1 Competition and the Mk1? (I have the latter and was wondering what I am missing out on.) ;)

Re: Ordered 1000 rounds of 45ACP last month.....

Ran about 1000 rounds of .45 ACP off of my Dillon press a couple of weeks ago. Packed it into a large cardboard box and slid it onto the shelf. ;)

Re: Snow day with my new PM9

I've had a PM9 for some time and is my usual CCW handgun. The cold may be a contributing factor as I've not noticed the grip texture being an issue here in AZ. But you need to be satisfied with it so do what you need to make it so. Since it is polymer, you could take the high points off of the surfa...

samginko wrote:I have one, currently working up a load using 175smk. I can give you tips, but too busy now for one to one guidance. Also, look at joining FNH forum.

Any luck on a load? I've not found anything to write home about yet for mine but continue to work on it when I have the time.

Re: Anyone Use A Laser Training Shell?

I've been using a laser cartridge as well as the laser target. Easy to use in the house. Product review in the link.

Re: Protect MN Press Release : NRA Press Conference

I for one was dissappointed with the NRA's response. I wasn't expecting anything magical, but they didn't say much. Putting cops at every school would bankrupt taxpayers - At least the ones who aren't bankrupt already. I support the NRA, but I don't think they hit a home run with their awaited resp...

Re: Scope suggestions for supersonic 300 blk?

What would you expect to be your max shooting distance? Do you prefer a higher powered scope or are you comfortable shooting several hundred yards with a low powered optic?

Re: how to clean optic lenses?

Well when I clean my glasses I rub warm water on the glass with soap. Pat it with a cotton cloth, then wipe it with a lens cloth. My method as well. The warm, soapy water lifts any oils, and provides lubrication to help prevent abrasion of the coating. And any residual soap helps reduce/eliminate fo...

Re: Could they take our guns??

If they did require all fireamrs to be turned in, I would comply with that order and turn in any I have, unfortunatly, all my firearms fell through the ice yesterday, I guess the lake was not thick enough to support the weight. That is a shame....I feel your pain. I had a similar accident here in A...

Re: Do we have to worry about or gun right?

Last time I bought a NRA membership, they stuffed my mailbox with so much junk mail that I couldn't wait for it to run out. I'd halfway consider another one if I could get them to agree to refrain from contacting me by mail. Certainly it isn't that hard to toss it into the trash along with the rest...

Re: If Gun Ban ever passed

If Hillary can get hit on the head so she can't testify, I've no doubt the current administration could arrange for a Supreme Court justice (or two) to somehow quickly step down so they could be liberally replaced.

Re: .223 ammo

wildfan1 wrote:If I could shoot sub 1" groups at 300 yards I'd be thrilled

Good luck...you will be making your own loads, in my opinion, if you hope to shoot that well. Very little (any?) factory ammo will give you 1/4 MOA. You must have bought one heck of a rifle if it can deliver a group like that.
