Re: Anyone carry a Taser?

I have used a stun gun a time or two and it was quite effective those times. Would you elaborate? I have heard from people who have gotten stunned that it hurts like a b****, but as soon as it's removed the effect is gone. It's nothing like the movies where a person gets completely knocked unconsci...

Slight change of gears, but I find Negan's character to be entirely unbelievable all on its own. The guy literally steals other men's wives, and then has those same guys working in his trusted inner circle? Combined with all the other horrible stuff he does, someone would have put a bullet in the ba...

Heard a lawyer on Barrero's KFAN show yesterday (don't remember his name) saying the 2nd degree manslaughter charge is a joke. Basically it's a charge for negligence, but it's not possible to be negligent when you shoot someone 7 times. He thinks the prosecutor is setting it up so the officer only g...

I agree that you should start calling/emailing local gun clubs. Start with the nearest and work your way out. I think someone will be willing to accomodate you.

Re: Eagan Shooting Range?

Nothing really newsworthy, but a bit of background: http://www.startribune.com/eagan-considers-change-to-firearms-law/296285761/ MARCH 13, 2015 A video surveillance system, noise containment technology and professional staffing are some of the safety measures that will be enforced at Ea...

Eagan Shooting Range?

Last year, I believe, I read about a new indoor range coming to Eagan. If I remember correctly, the city council approved it.

Haven't heard a word about it since...

Does anyone have any updates? Would be great to have another indoor option during the winter months.

I agree you should call him. This is a different scenario than just some guy itching to get his new gun a few minutes or hours after it was delivered. I've used LE Gun Sales 3 or 4 times for transfers, and Tim has always been pleasant to deal with. I think he'll understand. His dogs on the other han...

Re: Dead and wounded in Orlando

xd ED wrote:From what I read, they waited to take the guy because they were gathering intelligence from people/ hostages inside, and there was a fear of IEDs, second shooters...they say they went when they did, before sunrise, while it was still dark.

Sounds like a lame excuse to me.

I also heard the reports that the police stood outside while the shooting was still going on. It sickens me. If the shooting had stopped, then I understand it is likely a hostage situation, and they should hold off. Easy for me to say, but it's a cop's job to run into that d*** building, and try to ...

You may be right, but I think many Bernie supporters really dislike Hillary. I think many will stay home because they assume Trump really has no chance. Many others may vote third party, particularly Green.

I agree completely. I too will not be voting for either one. What are the odds that Clinton surges in the polls and the Republicans decide to go ahead and appoint Obama's nominee before the election? Republicans in the past have said he would be a great choice (don't take that to mean I agree). Woul...
