Uffdaphil, I'll try to get a better pic up. What you don't see is a FAC american made muzzle brake. FAC was a gun, and parts,(and junk) dealer that went out of business a few years back.The brake counts as one of seven american made parts. It is louder than any rifle I've heard.

I have used it in 45acp and it was fine. As someone else mentioned, the charge weights will be similar to unique but cleaner. It metered thru my redding #3 measure ok.
I have a fnp 45 and I really like it. The fat grip works for me as I have big hands. Other people with normal sized hands have shot it ok, but complained a little about the grip.
Quite a few years ago I bought some Mag-tech bullets that were .452".(they were cheap, this was before things started going up) I still had some winchesters that were .451", both were 230 grain rn fmj. I tried a test by loading 12 of each bullet in loads that were otherwise identical. Same...
