I always take new guns down first. Many of them are packed full of storage grease and that grease is not meant to lubricate a firearm during shooting, but to keep rust from forming. Clean that junk out and lube it with real gun lube, then shoot.

I'd like to have a set put on my XD as well.

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in .243 that I took my buck with this fall. Much lighter than most other rifle, and more accurate than I am. The trigger and bolt are smooth as glass. Great rifle.
