Re: Dull sticky brass after wet tumbling (?)

glad you figured it out, when I've had that happen, I usually find I haven't used enough citric acid or soap, or the pins are dirty. I dump in some laundry detergent of all things to help with that.

Re: Small rifle primers

I live in the north metro and have only ventured down there twice. Nothing either time, and it's too damn far to keep wasting gas trying.

Re: Shooters World Powder?

I picked up 8 pounds of the 'precision rifle' powder that was supposed to be similar to Varget. It's..similar, but not exact. I've had great results with it in .308, wide nodes, single digit SDs, but it took almost a grain more powder to get similar velocities as Varget. Good powder, but not a drop ...

Re: Stay at home extended

What were the metrics used to put us here in the first place? My mother-in-law works at a hospital in Minneapolis. They have no patients. They have shut do...

Re: SIG Sauer Romeo5 red dot

I have 3 or 4 of them as well as a couple of the Vortex versions. I vastly prefer the Sig versions, the auto turn off and motion activated turn on is awesome.

Re: Hornady 190 Sub-Finally

cool. I got tired of waiting and bought a bunch of Makers REX 220's. I'm hoping to put one into a deer this season (opening weekend was a bust).

Re: Springfield hellcat 9mm

I got to fondle one this evening. It didn't come home with me, but it didn't lessen my desire to buy one soon, either.

Re: Springfield hellcat 9mm

I really want one but can't stomach replacing all my XDS holsters, as I imagine they aren't compatible.

Re: What firearm are you using for deer opener?

Hey I am in Pine county too. Where abouts? I hunt opening weekend at Chengwatana with my family, we're originally from the area and some of us have been hunting there since the 40s. I also have land near Duxbury that can see some action, too. Got it. I started hunting St. Croix State Forest in 1999...

Re: What firearm are you using for deer opener?

What sights are you using on the 300BLk pistols/SBRs for hunting? Irons? Low “x” optics? 1-8 Strike Eagle scope. I'm sure a red dot would be fine too, I hunt in Pine County where you'd be lucky to have an 80 yard shot at the most. Thanks. I went down to 2x scope for much of the same reason but stay...
