Re: USPSA Training by Ben Stoeger

Yup, I'd be ready for another class to kick off the USPSA season in the Spring.

Ron I was talking to Ben not too long ago about another class here in the cities. I can bug him again if you'd like?

Re: 2014 "4th Annual" Nordic Comp Tactical Shotgun Championship

Already on my calendar, including days beforehand to help out. Count me in for setup/prop-building/etc

Can't wait. Is it June yet?

Re: MGFC/MN3GG 2-Gun Match Announcement - Saturday 11/16/2013

If you ask anyone that was at the FLSC 3gun match, I like to throw my mags on the ground before I change them. It's way more tactical.

Maybe I'll pick up an extra pouch just in case :)

Re: MGFC/MN3GG 2-Gun Match Announcement - Saturday 11/16/2013

And today I learned I don't have to miss this match because of work. Looking forward to it!

Thoughts on whether or not I'll need more than 1 AR mag pouch for this match?

Re: FLSC Tactical Shotgun Match - Sunday 10/13/2013

We missed you today, Jomar!

A HUUUUGE thank you for getting those scores up so quickly.

It was a fun match. Adam did a great job planning the stages today and the round counts were perfect (not too little, not too much).

And Happy Birthday Ron!

Re: Burnsville Pistol Range Practical Pistol Winter League

I don't want to step on Mike's toes but does anyone want to discuss the new format? Go ahead and step (just don't stomp). The ROs had a meeting after everyone left to discuss the good and bad of the new format. I've had a call today from one of the ROs about it, too. We need to hear from you!!! If ...

Re: Burnsville Pistol Range Practical Pistol Winter League

I conducted a little experiment on stage 2 this evening: How fast can I physically pull the trigger, sorta look at my sights, and still hit paper?

My answer was something like 30 mikes and a priceless "what the hell just happened" look on Gundry's face. Worth it? Yes.

Re: My new Beretta 1301 Comp came in.

That loading port looks a lot wider than the stock one on my "competition" SLP so at least you've got a good start.

Now get to practicin' ya gamer!

Amazing how one mistake in a stage like that can cost you the match. Blah.

Re: FLSC/MN3GG 3-Gun Match - September 7, 2013

I am a wuss when it comes to the heat, and wow today seriously kicked my ass. But that being said - I thoroughly enjoyed today's match. To be honest when I first saw 4 of 6 stages being classifiers I wasn't all that excited and was worried it might get repetitive. Couldn't have been further than the...

Re: The current climate of the shooting sports in MN

Thanks for cross posting this, Ron. I'm looking forward to the dialog on both forums. Anyone shot USPSA in other states? In some ways I think we've got it pretty good here in MN, especially when you compare to a lot of the states in the North East that I travel to on a regular basis. They are all sh...
