Re: “it really is to protect the children.”

\ If it was a high school chem lab, macgyver-ing something wih acids and bases shouldn't be that hard and I suck at chemistry. Metal shop could prolly weld the door shut and heat the door knob to bacon frying temps. I for one would just not sit and wait! Until I hear this is "a drill" I h...

Re: Longer barreled ar pistol legality

I typed that kind of fast, it may not define a "firearm" over 26" with a vfg as an SBR, but I could've sworn there was something different here. I may be thinking of MN carry statues or hunting statues. Perhaps you can hunt with an AR "pistol" in a shotgun zone, but if that ...

Re: Longer barreled ar pistol legality

The over 26" OAL being a "firearm" and allowed to have a VFG attached is a federal thing. I believe that does NOT apply to Minnesota. I may be wrong, but I believe Minnesota considers over 26" with a VFG an SBR and thus trouble. Please double check this before you become Bubba's ...

WTB grips for Blackhawk

I have a "new model" .357 Blackhawk and I'm looking for some new grips for it, preferably something in fake ivory or pearl white, but something else along those lines may work too.

Lyman press and other reloading equipment

I have some reloading equipment for sale. Lyman powder measure, I believe it's a model 55, it appears to be the same as the current model except for not having a powder baffle and being orange. These can measure from very small pistol loads to large rifle loads without changing any metering inserts....

Re: Obama, 35yr ago TM "could have been me"

And when they're looting and screaming for Zimmerman's head they're not doing themselves as a race any favors. Don't like a stereotype? Don't perpetuate it.

Re: Brass Needed To Help WasFuzz

The only odd brass I have is .284 Win. If someone's around New Ulm or Mankato and going up I can give one up. If no one is coming this way, I can always pm my address and you could mail it in an envelope, if you wouldn't mind. Thank you. Or, I might be heading down to the Scheels in Mankato in a fe...

Re: Primers at Scheel's Mankato

Popular stuff like Varget and RL15 was gone, I got a lb of BLC2. I don't really remember what else. They seem to get stuff once or twice a week and it's a crap shoot what they get. All of a sudden the ammo case will be full of 9mm, then two days later that's all gone and there's a bunch of other stu...

Re: Primers at Scheel's Mankato

They've had Winchester Large Rifle Magnum for a while. These were the first other primers I've seen there in the last few months.

Primers at Scheel's Mankato

Scheel's had CCI No. 41's - small rifle for AR's, had quite a few bricks yet when I was there (around 5) and my brother got one around 7 yet, so there may be some there yet.
Edit, forgot to say. $44.99 for 1000

Re: Good 'ol days

I'll have to take some pictures of some of my dad's stuff. I think there's some 4 or 6 dollar Federal .243's in there.
