Re: AK47 Pistol Question

thunderoussilence wrote:Also I think a woman would be harassed less for open carry, but I would be concerned with gungrabbers thinking they can be dumb.

Really, that's true and interesting. Woman walks in packing, we assume she's police or security. Man walks in packing, we don't know what to think.

Re: AK47 Pistol Question

Thanks. It really would be the ultimate open carry statement, wouldn't it? Also, cop stops you for tail light out, "Officer I have a permit to carry a pistol and I am armed." " Yeah? Whaddaya got?"...(cue 'Downtown' by Petula Clark) :D

AK47 Pistol Question

I see there's a PAP M92 AK47-style pistol for sale in the firearm forum. Could I (not should I) walk around with this thing around my neck if I have a PTC? Is it really legally a pistol?

Re: What to Stockpile

Books, both on how to do stuff (no YouTube) and good old escapist fiction. Hunkering down is boring.

Hmmm, and why do you know so much about how to do this?

From looking at the picture of the window. I can link. I was a construction foreman, I had to roll on site and figure out how to get things done. ;)

Re: Gun shop burglarized multiple times

Cube van. Right height, back it up there, hold a moving blanket in front of the window to muffle the noise when you knock it out, drop the blanket over the bottom of the hole to cover the sharp edges and nobody would see anything but the truck. And no security cameras inside or out at a gun store? :...

Re: Piers Morgan on gun control

What hypocrisy. These people LOVE guns, look at their bodyguards and security people. They just don't want ordinary citizens to have them.

Re: Armslist Puchase out of state - what would you do?

"i am selling this lovely gunbecause i'm in a hugeMoney problem and have no choice than to put a few things out for quicksale"

It's a scam. I got these exact same words in a response to a SS Kimber on Armslist that was priced too good to be true about a month ago.

Re: Polish Tantal AK-74 Review

I've had good luck with my 2011 model. I've done numerous mag dumps and and a fair amount of shooting at 100 yds. with no keyholing and no malfunctions. I haven't shot beyond 100 tho because that's the max at my buddies' backyard range. Anyway, I've had ARs and AKs (maybe still do 8-) ) and this one...

Re: SIG 220

Wow, that's a beauty. I've got the SAS. 226 too. I like a decocked DA/SA for big carry. Had a 238 too, beautiful, but heavy, sharp edges and manual safety, sold it. Kahr CW9 for mini-carry now.
