Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

I have a personal rule of not consuming any alcohol while carrying even though the law allows me to have a BAC of .08. 624.714 says BAC max. for carry is 0.04. Knew I wasn't nuts, I just mixed up Utah's BAC and MN. I knew MN was .04 just got confused for a second. Anyway yeah, wasn't just makin ***...

Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

Just sent. Tried to keep my temper in check. This is my last email to him, I'm moving on to my legislators in anticipation of his "I am Democrat hear me roar" veto move. "Governor Dayton, There has been an incalculable amount of public hours spent on finding a way for the public at la...

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

Then I suggest we all concentrate our calling, writing, emailing and smoke signaling efforts on our legislators. Get it back through the houses! Dayton has already made up his mind and no matter how logical our standpoint its all **** he's heard before and we won't change his mind now. This weekend ...

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

End of day Monday as I understand it. The revisor's site lists it as delivered Thursday. " Any bill not returned by the governor within three days (Sundays excepted) after it is presented to him becomes a law as if he had signed it...." Would a governor ever not sign or veto a bill? It wo...

Re: Demonstration downtown for Castle Doctrine

Was going to work out what's best for all interested. When's his deadline to sign it? I lost track with all the sending it back to the legislature and all that.

Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

As long as its passed through "the People's" branch he really shouldn't be playing these games. He needs to just sign the damn thing and stop playing Emperor.

Demonstration downtown for Castle Doctrine

I'm not comfortable with sending emails and leaving voicemails. These can be, and probably have been, ignored.

Let's go downtown and make sure the Governor, who considers himself our Lord and Master, knows we're here and watching.

Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

This is what I sent to all who support and voted for the bill. I have received numerous responses and praise. A very similar message was sent to the governor. My fellow Minnesotan, Thank you for choosing to support HR 1467. I'm an Air National Guardsmen and have deployed five times since October 20...

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

So if he's taking the full three days of stalling time, can we assume we have to wait until tomorrow for an answer?

I'm off work today and tomorrow if anyone wants to meet at the capital and do a little sign wavin'.

Re: EP Gander MTN Used Guns

They're negotiable on used firearms so I would imagine they mark it up knowing whoever the buyer is will dick around with them and if they get some new 21 year old with a PTP and too much money in his pocket then it's a good day. I just bought a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry 2 for $200 under MSRP a cou...

Diamondback DB9

Anyone have any experience with this firearm? I've only found a couple good reviews but piles of scathing writeups labelling it as a horrible POS.

Thoughts?
