XD40SC magazine won't eject?

I'm looking for some help. I love this gun however, when I push the mag release the mag pops about 1/2 inch and stops. It won't even fall out when the I shake the gun. I have tried to oil the exterior of the mag, that worked for about 4 times. Has anyone else had this issue. I did contact Springfiel...

Re: I would appreciate a female perspective.

Thanks to all of you for the advice. I did take her to the indoor range in Burnsville. At first she was real jumpy, but within an hour or so she seemed to calm down. There was a guy 4 lanes down shooting a Desert Eagle. I have told her about all the support and offers on this forum and she is very i...

By "audit", do you mean she would get to sit in on the class?

Re: I would appreciate a female perspective.

This 'feels' like a training issue to me. Since she gave you the OK to buy the gun, hopefully she trusts your ability with it. Ask her if she would like to go shooting with other women. Most of my female friends are hippies and slowly but surely they are all making their way to Oakdale Gun Club. On...

Re: I would appreciate a female perspective.

My post disappeared. Stupid phone. Do you think when you discussedthe crime aspect she became more aware and doesn't know how to handle it yet? This has to be something she hasn't had experience with and might be a learning experience. That is a very good point that I didn't consider. Any tips to h...

Re: I would appreciate a female perspective.

I guess I'm not following... What does dogs barking have to do with a gun? Or being in the house after you go to sleep having to do with a gun? Sent an email? She sent me an email describing how she has been feeling since I got the gun. I was at work and she evidently just want to get it off her ch...

I would appreciate a female perspective.

I recently purchased a handgun. I have always wanted one but my wife finally gave me the ok. I have been trying to include her in my new hobby, she even came to the range with me last week. My intent has always been to get my carry permit. My motives are 60% hobby 40% defense. However, since having ...

Re: Mobilization to Override Governor Dayton's Veto

I emailed everyone on the "no" list. Not sure if it will help any but willing to do whatever it takes to get the political left to stand up for the good guy. "My name is Ryan. I am a 31 year old husband and father of two great kids. We live in Bloomington, MN. I am writing to you toda...

Re: ....This can't be real

Whatever the backstory or original intent behind this bill or HF1467 may be, there is a fundemental ego involved. I am outraged that my governement, state or federal, thinks that they can or need to grant me legal permission to protect mine or my families life. This is simply ignorant and egotistica...

Re: House Democrats leave Iowa Capitol in protest of gun bills

If any of us left our jobs because we didn't want to play by the rules, we would be fired! So why isn't this happening to these people? Politicians have operated without fear of consequence for way to long. This kind of crap makes me sick.

Re: Nephew invited to the White House

Thank you for his service and sacrifice to our country. That said I would pass an invitation from this president, he has no respect for our armed forces, our citizens or our country. He does these things for the press and then turns and appoligizes for our actions like we have something to be asham...

Re: Took the wife shooting...

Nice what were you two shooting. My girlfriend likes going to the range with me but she doesn't like shooting pistols bigger than .22. She has no problem with the .223 AR but I want her to get into a bigger caliber handgun. We were shooting my XD40SC with 165gr. WB FMJ's. She liked it but the grip ...

I'm trying to get my neighbor to come out with me. Both he and his wife are thinking about getting their carry permits so it shouldn't be too hard.
