Re: Armslist - To many questions?

Clearly this person did not have someone else lined up seeing they drop the price on the gun today.

Glad the deal fell through.

Re: Armslist - To many questions?

Is there an online source to check if a firearm is stolen? I thought only law enforcement had that access. I believe there are a few sites that you can self-register a stolen firearm but I don’t think you could count on them. A police check would be a better bet. I partly asked the question knowing...

Armslist - To many questions?

I have never purchased any on Armslist before but found something i was interested in. The price was good but not super low for a new in the box firearm from a private party. In the ad they ask for proof of MN residency and eligibility to purchase a firearm. When it looked like we were good on the p...

Re: .22 LR

I stopped in the Blaine Fleet Farm yesterday to look at empty 22LR shelves and was surprised to find 3 222 rounds Winchester boxes so I picked up one. I think I checked the box 2 or 3 to make sure it really was 22LR. I made a comment to one of the sales people in the gun area and he said they had re...

'Mandatory' Sentences - KARE 11 Report

I hardly ever look at Face Book but happened to take a look today and found this link from GOCRA. The Minnesota Legislature should listen to what GOCRA's founder, Professor Joseph E. Olson, has been telling them for more than three decades: "IT'S THE CRIMINAL, STUPID!" Under Minnesota law ...

Trial started yesterday. http://www.startribune.com/local/255975891.html http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/story/25294685/self-defense-vs-murder-strategies-at-play-in-little-falls For the prosecution, it's not the break-in -- but the breakdown of events afterward -- that cou...

Re: Bloomberg Plans a $50 Million Challenge to the N.R.A.

The last line tells us everything we need to know about this mans arrogance. “I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.” I'm not a very religious person, but I'd say h...

Re: What would you do?

IMO he secured it good enough it's in a locked locker in his bag, if someone manages to get in the locker and find the gun that's on them. Don't mess with other people property. Not locked in the bag. Only lock would be the key code to access the room, which lots of people know (including some unde...

Re: What would you do?

I did get a reply back from the person that left the gun in the locker room and they thanked me for my email and said it was a mistake on their part. Said the plan was to leave it in the car in the future.

Re: What would you do?

my shotgun came with a trigger lock thing. would he still be in for it, if when stored it had one of those on it(rendering it unfirable). forcing them to leave it in a car right now would probably render a lot of guns inoperable( sort of defeats their rights after getting a carry permit?). probably...
