Re: NFA poly & alum lowers, & PMags - interest in group buy?

Wish I had better answers guys. Definite learning experience here, and I won't do business with these dinks again. I got in on an FFL group buy of some new poly lowers from a different company, and I am in the same boat. Mailed my payment in December....still waiting.

Re: MWCA Gun Show March 16-17

I agree 100% with John. After seeing the turnout at the Wells "gun" show last weekend, I guarantee the MWCA will be well attended. I would bet most ar rifles will be high, and most ammo. But there are still good, honest sellers out there (like John) who are plugging along and waiting out t...

no clear best, and 75% of them do just about as good as anything else, so people just say what they use and that's as far as it gets. Never fails though, there is always something new and better.

Stoeger Uplander and Condor. Opinions?

Just curious what others have experienced with the Stoeger shotgun line. I picked up a barely used 20 ga Condor from The Frontiersman over the weekend, and just bought a like new Uplander 12 ga on GB. for the money, they look like pretty dang nice guns, and one I won't worry about scratching when hu...

Re: Wells gun show?

Yep, truly a shame. Not blaming anyone here, but I have heard this was such a great show. Sounds like maybe since it is so well attended, it brings out anyone with anything to sell. I agree with OldmanFCSA...hopefully the organizers can turn it around, because the reputation the Wells Gun Show has F...

Re: Wells gun show?

More guns than coins? More modern day guns? More gun accessories? More gun supplies? $50 for a 500 pack of Federal .22, I can do better on Armslist. More guns that coins? Table with guns...yes. Count...no. There were boxes and boxes of coins. But probably at least 10 different vendors with coins, a...

Re: Wells gun show?

I was expecting high prices but a buck a round for cheap steel cased wolf 223 that's insane. But overall the prices were a little high but not unexpected I guess I would say. Much more frustrating was that the whole thing was more like 1 large rummage sale than a gun show I did however get a good pr...

Re: Wells gun show?

Sorry I missed you Doug. I looked, but what a zoo! Not impressed with my first trip to the vaunted Wells gun show. Clearly the vast majority of the sellers were hoping to capitalize on the frenzy. Most .223 was $1/round, even steel cased..22 LR bulk packed federal boxes for $45/525 rounds. DPMS A2 f...

Re: NFA poly & alum lowers, & PMags - interest in group buy?

Sorry guys. More of the same from these guys. I apologize for this dragging out so long. Email reply today: Your order is in the next queue of lowers set to go out in about a week or so – we’ve hit a slight snag on receiving some of the parts for the lowers however. We hope to ship your order within...

Re: WWII M1 help identifying

Thanks guys. I'll work on some pics. Great hearing the history of this gun by my friend. His grandpa just showed up one day and said "Time this becomes yours". He had an old GI ammo can packed with 30 cal rounds some on strippers, some in mags. Then the gun, a few mags, the mag pouch. Very...

WWII M1 help identifying

A friend of mine got a gun from his grandpa. He used it in WWII in the Pacific Theater. I am assuming it is a Springfield, but it does not say that anywhere on it. Here is all the marking and detail I can recall: -Semi auto .30 caliber, carbine length -had numerous mags that I would guess are 15-20 ...

Wells gun show?

Never been before, and going this year. I hear great things about it. Wondering, from those of you that have been there before....are there usually vendors of safes there? I am in the market for a new safe, and hoping I might run into a "show special" there. I will have the $ tomorrow, and...
