The surrenderers

A lot of people blindly follow "the law", even if its unjust. I will not under any circumstances surrender my firearms to governmental authority. That's exactly what the second amendment is for.

Why does everyone insist on MN PTC?

It may be the law under the strictest reading of the applicable statutes but I think it's a little illogical. Oh well. I have to get my MN to renew my UT anyway, of course Dakota wants the full $100 to give me permission to exercise my "rights".

Why does everyone insist on MN PTC?

So you folks think Utah issues permits to felons?

Also, you can't be on the hook for any act committed after the fact. Even if we do a deal with MN PTC, bill of sale and all that and I go murder someone you are not liable at all.

Why does everyone insist on MN PTC?

I got a UT carry permit because at the time they were cheaper, recognized in more states, and are even a photo ID. There was just no reason to get Minnesota's extortionately priced laminated piece of paper. I'll have to get a MN before a renew because they cried and threw a fit so now UT won't proce...

MN universal background checks

Well this forum may be a lot less useful unless we stand up for our rights. Some committee of thugs decided last night that they're going to include language that would make all of us who strike a deal with our private property to go to a FFL and pay him his bribe and probably some tax to the govern...

A thought on "rules"

I personally don't see how problem with "negative comments on pricing" so long as its respectful. "Let me know when your high wears off" is not as bad as "you're a price gouging twit". That's my opinion anyway and that's the market at work. We're all adults here and yes...

Five More Bills?

They are not good bills. One of them I believe HF 293 would kill state preemption. It would allow cities to make a case for home rule and special ability to change the carry law inside their city. McDonald v Chicago seems to come to mind -------------------------------------------------------------...

the new panic... hr 241

**** letters. We need to march on St Paul and make ourselves HEARD not read. Unless you're willing to get out of your office chair and put down the keyboard you're doing nothing. Letters go in the trash, emails get deleted. We quote those glorious infallible "founding fathers" so often in ...

How to sell a rifle legally.

*ahem* http://www.mnguntalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=38948 Anecdotally - our opponents have shown themselves adept at arranging shady purchases and then video-taping the whole affair. I've also had 3 close friends from this board call off sales recently because the buyers kept hinting they prob...

How to sell a rifle legally.

You send an email to me with your pre-marijuana induced scare pricing, we meet and we exchange. Private sales are extremely deregulated. So long as you have no reason to believe the recipient is a felon you're fine. Most people do a simple bill of sale with both partie's info. A lot of people will a...

Could they take our guns??

Lock it up. On principle. No you may not search my home. Yes you may kiss my ass. I wonder if the founders would have bothered fighting a bloody unwinnable war if they could see that in less than 300 years the nation they struggled to build would be less patriots and more pitiful cowards too afraid ...
