Silly question but since I'm not a Minnesota historian by any means... But has there ever been a major tragedy in Minnesota or a serious crime that high cap mags were used in? Just curious. I suppose I'd have to define major and serious but I think you guys get what I'm asking.

I was just wondering if anyone else has ordered through Arms of America? I've placed a few orders and only 1 time have I recieved 100% what I ordered. The only sight I liked was the $100 Rock Solid mount that I couldn't justify spending that on a $79 Fleet Farm special. As for an AK sight rail not working... ha well look at my receiver real close and tell me it worked horribly before this mount :lol: It really depends upon how your gun is set up! ...

I'm no expert on Mossins, but from what I've seen with the AK's I'm more familiar with the real cost of shooting is the ammo, not the gun. It's bottomed out on the barrel end of the ramp that locks the bolt in place, usually theres a gap there of about .020-.030 (approximating) looking at some of my other builds that have the correct headspacing and have fired thousands of rounds sucessfully.

I was putting together a milled receiver parts kit and when installing the barrel there must have been a bur or defect I couldn't see. I hit a hard spot when installing the barrel and had headspacing close but not perfect. So I gave it some more force and the barrel jumped on me now it's too far in ...
