Re: 2nd Annual Permit to Carry Charity Class - Breast Cancer

Had a great time in the class! Learned lots and we were able to support a great cause.. Highly recommend Blue Line Defense for their Permit to Carry class! Voted for BLD in Mission Small Business - would urge others to do the same! (http://www.bluelinedefense.com/mission-small-business/) - Andy R (M...

Re: Isanti County Sportsman's Club

Not looking to hijack this thread but what's the opinion of the club? I'm a new shooter looking for a place to shoot pistol and rifle.. It's a little bit of a trek from Lino lakes but everything I've heard so far sounds good to me... Is the rifle range completely unavailable during leagues (if any)?...

Re: Why is this pistol not legal in MN?

Just my 2 cents worth, I got a Ruger Mrk III 2245, works great and eats any .22LR ammo. have you looked into the S&W MP 15-22 pistol? its a polymer frame and is legal in MN. they have a very good reputation as well. have you looked into the S&W MP 15-22 pistol? its a polymer frame and is le...

Re: Why is this pistol not legal in MN?

Spoke to Ann at Umarex Arms. The 416 pistols actually have an alloy metal frame and through their own destruction testing have melted them into liquidus state under 1000 degrees. So they do NOT meet Minnesota "Junk Gun" standards and can't be transferred in Minnesota by a FFL holder. Than...

Re: Flat Dark Earth Glocks

is this a Glock produced FDE frame or does Lipseys (or another 3rd party) put on a coating (like Cerakote) afterwards? I would say that the cost gives credit to my opinion that it may be something other than just a Cerakote finish. However, on the other hand, I can see them charging more for Cerakot...
